The location is unbeatable—right next to Zhenzhu Bay Beach, perfect for families with kids who love digging in the sand and enjoying the sea breeze on a bike ride. The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—always smiling, ready to help, and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and they even included a complimentary afternoon tea, which was such a nice surprise. The outdoor pool and dedicated family-friendly activity space made it ideal for both relaxation and fun. My kids had a blast, and I felt completely recharged. This hotel truly delivers on every level—comfort, convenience, and service. I’d absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Xiamen!

On checkout day, she even arranged a late departure without hassle, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The housekeeping staff were thorough and attentive, leaving no corner untouched. Every team member we interacted with showed genuine warmth and professionalism. From start to finish, the service felt personal and caring. Check-in was a bit stressful at first, but the on-duty manager handled everything with great empathy and professionalism. After a calm conversation, the issue was resolved smoothly—and they even surprised me with afternoon tea, evening entertainment, and a bottle of wine. The next day’s airport transfer was excellent too; driver Andy was friendly, courteous, and helped carry my luggage without being asked. We had a pleasant chat throughout the ride. A few suggestions for improvement: the afternoon tea selection was limited, and the fruit—especially the watermelon—wasn’t very fresh. Dinner options were also quite narrow. The room stayed chilly despite running the heater all night—temperature barely reached 15°C, so adding a heating option would be helpful. Also, breakfast was missing some items, and they weren’t replenished promptly. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The staff responded quickly to feedback, and the views from the room were stunning—especially sunrise in the morning. One small disappointment: no capsule or instant coffee available, which is common even in budget hotels. Adding that would make the stay much more convenient for guests who rely on coffee.

The only minor concern was the deposit requirement: a RMB 1,000 refundable deposit was requested by the hotel, which is higher than the room rate itself, plus an additional payment through the booking platform. While this did feel a bit steep upfront, it’s worth noting that the overall experience far outweighs this small inconvenience. From the elegant rooms and thoughtful amenities to the professional yet warm staff, every detail reflects high standards. If you’re looking for a luxurious and personalized stay in Xiamen, this hotel delivers. I’d absolutely return and recommend it without hesitation.

The twin room was still quite large, but felt slightly cramped in comparison, especially the bathroom area. It also seemed less well-maintained—the tiles had water stains, and there was a faint odor coming from the drain. That said, cleanliness across the room was still good, and the beds were nicely soft with high-quality linens that made for a very restful night’s sleep. If the twin room’s maintenance could be improved—especially around the bathroom—the experience would be even better. Overall, the king-size room stood out as the clear winner in terms of comfort and space, making it a great choice for travelers who value a relaxed, airy feel.

The lobby is on the third floor, and having luggage delivered straight to your room upon arrival was such a thoughtful touch. My room had a warm red palette paired with bamboo accents and herringbone wood flooring—very much rooted in Fujian style while still feeling luxurious and modern. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a complimentary minibar and fresh welcome fruit, and the Happy Hour offering a variety of salads, snacks, fruits, and local delicacies was a real highlight. I upgraded my room, and over three days, the service remained consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. There was a minor hiccup during my stay, but my hostess Bettie handled it with remarkable sincerity—she apologized promptly, offered a small gift as a gesture of goodwill, and even included a local specialty. While I politely declined the gift, what truly mattered was her genuine effort to make things right. The second-floor spa was another standout—using La Mer products left my skin feeling revitalized and glowing. Room cleanliness was top-notch—the housekeeping staff were attentive and greeted us warmly upon arrival, and any requests were handled promptly and kindly. The lounge afternoon tea setup is stunning, and despite being fully booked during the holiday period and having limited staff, the team still managed to seat us comfortably and deliver coffee without delay—truly commendable effort under pressure. Breakfast was a highlight too, especially the pancake station where the server was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s clear the hotel values long-term employees—many have been with them for nearly a decade, reflecting a caring, stable work culture. Our original twin-bed room wasn’t ideal for traveling with kids, so they instantly upgraded us to a family-friendly room with an enormous bed—perfect for everyone! One highlight was the kids’ play area on the 4th floor. We called ahead, and within just one minute, someone opened the door. Even though it was just us, the concierge manager Andy Yang personally stayed with our child, playing games and keeping him entertained—our little one had a blast. When we were leaving, Andy walked us all the way to the car, reminded the kid to dress warmly, and made sure he wouldn’t catch a cold. That level of care truly touched us. From start to finish, every detail felt personal and warm. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. I’ll definitely come back here next time I visit Xiamen.
