The guest manager, Xiao Luo, went above and beyond—she reached out before check-in to confirm details and checked in regularly during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. On checkout day, she even arranged a late departure without hassle, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The housekeeping staff were thorough and attentive, leaving no corner untouched. Every team member we interacted with showed genuine warmth and professionalism. From start to finish, the service felt personal and caring. The only minor concern was the deposit requirement: a RMB 1,000 refundable deposit was requested by the hotel, which is higher than the room rate itself, plus an additional payment through the booking platform. While this did feel a bit steep upfront, it’s worth noting that the overall experience far outweighs this small inconvenience. From the elegant rooms and thoughtful amenities to the professional yet warm staff, every detail reflects high standards. If you’re looking for a luxurious and personalized stay in Xiamen, this hotel delivers. I’d absolutely return and recommend it without hesitation.

I started with a king-size room and later switched to a twin-bed room. Honestly, I found the king-size room had a more spacious and open layout—much more comfortable overall. The twin room was still quite large, but felt slightly cramped in comparison, especially the bathroom area. It also seemed less well-maintained—the tiles had water stains, and there was a faint odor coming from the drain. That said, cleanliness across the room was still good, and the beds were nicely soft with high-quality linens that made for a very restful night’s sleep. If the twin room’s maintenance could be improved—especially around the bathroom—the experience would be even better. Overall, the king-size room stood out as the clear winner in terms of comfort and space, making it a great choice for travelers who value a relaxed, airy feel.

We stayed at Pan Pacific Xiamen with our kids and booked the adorable Minion-themed room—so much fun! From the moment we walked in, everything was covered in cheerful yellow duck motifs. Despite being a slightly older five-star property, cleanliness was outstanding—so clean that we didn’t even need to unpack our own sheets or pillowcases. The front desk staff, especially Miss Huang Jinhua, was incredibly helpful—we asked if she could print out our child’s homework, and she did it right away without hesitation. The whole hotel exudes that classic old-money elegance, with thoughtful touches everywhere—from the decor to the service. It’s clear they care about every guest experience.
