The only minor drawback is the lack of a dry sauna and a faint plastic smell in the gym area, but these are small issues in an otherwise top-tier property. Location-wise, while it’s not directly adjacent to a subway station, everything you’d want—restaurants, shopping, transit—is within easy walking distance. The convenience, combined with the high level of service and thoughtful touches, makes this a truly exceptional stay. If you're looking for a refined, comfortable base in Manhattan, this hotel delivers on every front.

The Dominick Hotel

Staying at The Dominick Hotel was an absolute delight from check-in to check-out. The location is fantastic: just across from a large supermarket, so grabbing snacks or essentials was super convenient. The room itself was spacious and beautifully designed, with a stunning bathtub that I wish I’d photographed! Every night, we enjoyed the thoughtful turn-down service, which made the stay feel extra special. There’s no door between the bathroom and bedroom, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience—especially with the included microwave, perfect for quick meals. Clean, stylish, and thoughtfully equipped, this hotel offers excellent value. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

My 13-year-old daughter was surprised with a thoughtful birthday gesture that truly touched us all. The staff even arranged a private town car ride around the city, adding a personal touch to our experience. The guest rooms boast breathtaking views of Central Park, making every morning a delight. The level of service, the ambiance, and the overall attention to detail were outstanding. This is more than just a hotel—it’s a true home away from home. I’ll definitely be returning.

The Pierre truly exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. While the restaurant menu prices were on the high side (a simple chicken salad with truffle fries and iced tea came to $90 before tip), it’s understandable given the location and upscale setting. That said, the real issue was the air conditioning malfunctioning during our visit—our room climbed to a sweltering 88°F, making it nearly impossible to sleep. We had to keep the windows open, which brought in a lot of city noise. The manager heard about our discomfort and responded with a thoughtful discount on our room rate—a gesture that really made up for the inconvenience. Despite the minor setbacks, the overall experience was outstanding. The location is unbeatable—steps away from shopping, dining, and public transit. The atmosphere, elegance, and level of service are top-tier. I’d absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in New York.
