It’s a bit far from the train station, so public transport isn’t super convenient, but honestly, we preferred taking taxis during the hot Roman summer—walking long distances just wasn’t feasible. Taxis were more comfortable, even if they came with a higher price tag; just note that some drivers don’t give change, so keep small bills handy. There are two Chinese restaurants within walking distance—great for a taste of home. We also enjoyed strolling along the Tiber River toward Castel Sant’Angelo, and while Vatican City is a bit of a walk (about 30–40 minutes), it’s totally doable for those who love exploring on foot. Overall, the location, room flexibility, and serene atmosphere made this stay unforgettable. A fantastic choice for families seeking comfort, quiet, and authentic Roman charm.
