There’s a free laundry machine on the premises—perfect for longer stays or business trips. This little detail made my entire stay in Beijing much more enjoyable. Beijing Huiqiao Hotel
I stayed at Beijing Huiqiao Hotel mainly because of its convenient location near Zhongri Hospital—perfect for medical visits, and just a short subway ride away. However, the experience didn’t live up to expectations beyond that. As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, I noticed a strong sewer-like smell in the hallway—very off-putting. The room itself was clean enough, but even after opening the window for a while, the air still carried that unpleasant odor. Breakfast was another letdown—exactly what’s shown in the photos, nothing more, nothing less. It felt rushed and uninspired, lacking variety or quality. While the location is a solid plus, the overall comfort and hygiene leave much to be desired. For travelers without specific medical needs, there are definitely better options. If the hotel improves ventilation, cleaning routines, and breakfast offerings, it could become a more appealing choice.

The on-site restaurant is a real highlight—wide variety of dishes, great quality, and generous portions. The server, an older lady who worked there, was especially warm and welcoming, making the meal feel more like dining at a family-run spot than a chain hotel. Just steps away from the hotel, there's a fantastic spicy hot pot place that’s perfect for late-night cravings. I ended up eating there twice—it’s affordable, tasty, and convenient. Being right near Zuojiazhuang Subway Station makes getting around Beijing super easy. Overall, this is easily the best Homeinn experience I’ve had, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Atour S Hotel (Beijing Dongzhimen)
We stayed at Atour S Hotel in Beijing Dongzhimen with three friends, and it was our first time experiencing this brand—what a fantastic impression! Later on, another staff member and a lovely assistant helped bring up our takeout meals multiple times; their attentiveness really stood out. Location-wise, it's perfect—super convenient for getting around to major attractions like the Forbidden City and hutongs via subway. Everything is within easy reach, making sightseeing stress-free. Clean rooms, friendly service, and excellent value—all reasons why I’d happily recommend this hotel. We couldn’t have asked for more!
