Sure, the room is more compact compared to other luxury hotels, but the view of the Liangma River from the window makes every moment feel special—so serene, so picturesque, I can’t help but linger by the window. The highlight? The lounge’s afternoon tea and dinner. The food is exceptional—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and far beyond what you’d expect at many five-star properties. On New Year’s Day, I was delighted to see service staff Feng Xiangchao again. He remembered my preference for warm dishes and kindly heated up the seafood before serving—such thoughtful attention to detail. The next day, another team member, He Xu, took time to recommend the best desserts and gently reminded parents to watch the kids—small things that show how genuinely care about guests’ comfort. During dinner, I met a couple with their child, who shared they also make it a habit to visit a luxury hotel every weekend. After trying several places, they keep coming back to Kempinski—not just for the food or rooms, but because of the warmth, the genuine hospitality, and that sense of home. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a sanctuary. A place where stress melts away, and memories are made. This year, we’ve already booked our Lunar New Year stay. Can’t wait to return and relive that feeling all over again.

The server, an older lady who worked there, was especially warm and welcoming, making the meal feel more like dining at a family-run spot than a chain hotel. Just steps away from the hotel, there's a fantastic spicy hot pot place that’s perfect for late-night cravings. I ended up eating there twice—it’s affordable, tasty, and convenient. Being right near Zuojiazhuang Subway Station makes getting around Beijing super easy. Overall, this is easily the best Homeinn experience I’ve had, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
