Staying at Claridge House was a delightful experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Chicago History Museum and only a few blocks from the scenic shoreline of Lake Michigan. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance, and getting around town via Uber is super convenient. The building itself has a classic charm with elegant details that give it character without feeling outdated. The front desk staff were exceptionally professional and friendly, making check-in and check-out seamless. I booked a room with two queen beds—spacious, clean, and well-maintained, especially the large bathroom which felt like a private retreat. Valet parking is available next door, though it’s on the pricier side, but honestly, given the central location, it feels justified. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this gem to anyone visiting Chicago.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room was beautifully designed—sleek, modern, and so comfortable, with a mattress that made for a perfect night's sleep. We absolutely loved our stay at the Majestic Hotel! We came to Chicago for a Cubs game, and this hotel was the perfect choice—just a short walk from Wrigley Field. We were able to check in early, which was a nice touch, and the parking situation was surprisingly convenient. Yes, it was a bit on the higher end of the price range, but considering the unbeatable location and how special this trip was, we didn’t mind splurging a little. The building is older, but that’s part of its charm—there’s character here that you don’t get in chain hotels. Sure, some guests mention the wallpaper or carpeting, but honestly, it’s not a franchise, and it delivered exactly what we expected: a cozy, authentic downtown experience. We’ll definitely be back when we visit Wrigley again.

Staying at City Suites Hotel in Chicago was a fantastic experience. The hotel is just steps away from the train station, making it incredibly convenient to get into downtown—just a 20-minute ride on the elevated rail line. While it’s a bit removed from the city center, the proximity to transit more than makes up for it. The room itself is well-equipped with a refrigerator, air conditioning, and a full-sized bathtub. Bath amenities like shampoo, soap, and bathrobes are provided, though the scent of the toiletries has that distinct international fragrance some might find strong—those sensitive to scents may want to bring their own. A handy iron is also available. The lobby offers 24-hour coffee service, which is a nice touch, especially if you’re arriving late or need a morning pick-me-up. There’s one small downside: once, during a late-night request, staff didn’t respond right away, but overall, the front desk is attentive and professional. The building is older—there’s a slight creaking sound when walking on the floor—but it’s clean, well-maintained, and shows good upkeep. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase in-room, and after 10 PM, access to the main entrance requires a key card, adding an extra layer of security. All in all, this place delivers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again.

The room was immaculate every time I stayed—spotless and well-maintained. It's incredibly quiet, which made for a peaceful and restful experience. Check-in was seamless with no lines or hassle—just walk in and get settled. The apartment-style layout includes all the essentials, and having a washer and dryer in-unit is such a bonus for longer stays. The only minor issue was figuring out how to activate the ice machine inside the freezer, but that’s a small detail in an otherwise flawless stay. Overall, the attention to cleanliness, convenience, and comfort makes this place stand out. Highly recommend for travelers who value simplicity and quality.

I can't recommend this Holiday Inn Express Chicago - Magnificent Mile enough. The location is unbeatable—right across from Trader Joe's, so grocery shopping is a breeze. It's just a 7-8 minute walk to Trump Tower, and less than 20 minutes to Millennium Park. From there, it's only a few more minutes to the shores of Lake Michigan—perfect for a relaxing evening stroll. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived at 10 AM, and even though check-in wasn't available yet, they gladly stored our luggage at no extra cost. When we returned around 2:30 PM, we were told to wait about 25 minutes. But instead of leaving us waiting in limbo, the staff actually came to check on us—and discovered a room was already ready! They apologized and made sure we were taken care of right away. While the amenities aren't flashy, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
