The elevator is generously sized, making it easy to move large suitcases without any hassle. Compared to chain hotels, this place feels so much more personal and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond during our stay—they helped with taxi arrangements and even gave us great recommendations for nearby local eats. It’s clear they genuinely want guests to feel at home. Overall, an exceptional stay and definitely something I’d recommend to anyone visiting Nanjing.
Atour Hotel (Nanjing Xinjiekou Wangfu Street)
I always stay here whenever I visit Nanjing, and it's easy to see why—its location right next to Xinfu Street is unbeatable. My friends jokingly say you can’t go more than two kilometers in any direction without returning to the same area, which just shows how central it is. This time I booked the Jimu King-sized room with a bathtub, and my little one absolutely loved having bath time—it was such a treat for both of us. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and every detail felt thoughtfully designed with guest comfort in mind. The staff went above and beyond: when I asked about extending checkout due to traveling with my child and heavy luggage, they kindly accommodated me with a 4 PM check-out without hesitation. It’s rare to find such genuine care and flexibility. I’ll definitely be back every time I come to Nanjing.
