Still, the hotel completely made up for it. The rooms were spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The ambiance is peaceful and elegant, and the staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—huge variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious options from both Western and Chinese cuisines. Even with the weather and travel hiccups, we left feeling satisfied and genuinely happy. This place has such great value and charm. One small note: since the weather turned chilly, the dining area felt a bit cold—adjusting the AC temperature promptly would make the experience even better. The shower water pressure is outstanding—by far the strongest and most comfortable I've experienced anywhere. It actually made my showers faster and more relaxing! There are four washing machines and four dryers, and we never had to wait. Even better, the room TV shows real-time progress on laundry and drying cycles—such a smart and convenient feature. Location-wise, it’s super convenient with Line 4 just a short walk away, making commuting around Lujiazui easy. Ordering food delivery was also hassle-free—the robot delivered right to our door, which was such a fun and modern touch. Definitely considering this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai!

There’s also a small laundry facility on-site, which comes in handy when you’re on the go. One of the sweetest surprises?
