Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi

Staying at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi for the second time, and I’m still completely in love with this place. It’s now my top choice in Tokyo — the service is thoughtful and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. This time, I upgraded to a Deluxe Suite on the highest floor, directly facing the Imperial Palace. The view is absolutely breathtaking: panoramic cityscapes during the day, and magical nighttime views from the bathtub right by the window. The bathroom is spacious and fully separate, with premium fittings and an incredible layout that makes every moment feel luxurious. Room service is available 24/7 — breakfast delivered to your room costs the same as dining in-house, but I’d still choose delivery for the convenience and the generous fruit platter. The hotel’s VITRU bar on the lobby level is ranked among Asia’s Top 50 — designed with inspiration from a renowned Parisian bar, it has a sophisticated French aesthetic, excellent cocktails, and surprisingly reasonable prices. Guests can walk in easily, no hassle. Location-wise, while it’s not right next to the subway station (it’s on top of Otemachi Station, owned by Mitsui), getting to Tokyo Station is just a quick ride, and Silver Street is within 10 minutes by taxi. Plus, Otemachi itself is incredibly well-connected — way more convenient than areas like Azabu. Even though the hotel has been open a few years, everything still feels brand new, clean, and impeccably maintained. No signs of wear, just top-tier quality throughout. If you want a quiet, elevated urban retreat in central Tokyo with unbeatable views and exceptional service, this is it.

Nohga Hotel Ueno Tokyo

Staying at Nohga Hotel Ueno in Tokyo was a real highlight of my trip. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Ueno Station, which connects to all major lines and makes exploring the city super easy. Right outside the hotel, you've got Ameyoko Market with three bustling streets full of food stalls—great for grilled meats, fresh seafood, and even some delicious duck and dumplings. I especially loved the little sushi shop next to the dumpling place, where their pickled plum and shiso sushi was absolutely outstanding. There are two 24-hour convenience stores nearby, so late-night snacks or essentials are never an issue. The room itself is spacious for Tokyo standards—clean, well-maintained, with a smart toilet, separate shower area, and best of all, a rain showerhead! After checking so many hotels, finding one with this feature made my stay feel luxurious. The soundproofing is excellent—despite being near the elevator, there was zero noise from traffic or people passing by. A fridge is also included, which is always a plus. The pillows weren’t my favorite, but that’s a minor detail. Staff were friendly and helpful, though breakfast service slowed down during peak hours. Even with available seats, the kitchen couldn’t keep up, leading to long waits in front of the dining area. Still, the B-breakfast option tasted great and was worth the wait. Overall, this hotel delivers on comfort, convenience, and value—definitely a top choice if you're visiting Tokyo.

Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho

Staying at Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—super convenient for getting around Tokyo, with easy access to Ginza and Asakusa via subway. There’s a fantastic variety of dining options right outside the hotel, making it easy to grab a bite anytime. One of my favorite things? Walking in and immediately being offered a cold Asahi—just sit back, relax, and enjoy the vibe. The modern, stylish design creates a spacious and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and attentive. It’s a great mix of comfort, convenience, and fun. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Nohga Hotel Akihabara Tokyo

Staying at Nohga Hotel Akihabara was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around Tokyo. On the ground floor, there’s a cozy Italian restaurant that’s always bustling with guests—great food and a warm atmosphere. We booked a room for three, and it was spacious and well-designed, with a smart wet/dry separation in the bathroom that made everything feel more functional and clean. Right across the street is a local Chinese restaurant—ideal for grabbing dinner without having to travel far. Everything about this hotel felt thoughtfully put together, from the cleanliness to the helpful staff. Highly recommend for families or travelers looking for comfort and convenience in a vibrant neighborhood.

Hotel Keihan Asakusa

New Year's Eve visit to Senso-ji Temple was unforgettable, and thanks to road closures afterward, finding a hotel within walking distance was crucial. Hotel Keihan Asakusa turned out to be the perfect choice—just steps away from the temple, making it incredibly convenient. The location is unbeatable, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Clean rooms, great value, and a peaceful atmosphere made this a memorable experience. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tokyo, especially during festivals or busy times.

Other Space Asakusa

Staying at Other Space Asakusa was an absolute highlight of my trip to Tokyo. The location is unbeatable—just a quick walk across the street and you're right in front of Senso-ji Temple. The common areas are spacious and well-designed, perfect for working or simply relaxing with a good book. Breakfast was a real treat—fresh, varied daily options that kept things exciting. My room had a direct view of Senso-ji, and the rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the Tokyo Skytree, especially beautiful at sunset. The overall vibe is modern, clean, and welcoming. Staff were incredibly friendly—housekeeping even greeted us with a smile and a thank you. There’s also a language exchange event hosted in the dining area (paid), which was a fun way to meet other travelers. The only minor issue was that the duvet felt slightly damp, possibly due to humidity, but it didn’t detract much from the excellent experience. Overall, this place offers great value, comfort, and charm. I’d definitely come back.

Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo

Staying at Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo was an absolute highlight of my trip to Tokyo. The location is unbeatable—right next to the subway station, making it super easy to explore downtown areas like Ginza and Shinjuku without any hassle. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed with excellent natural light pouring in through the windows. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby—no noise, no disturbances, just pure relaxation. Everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Breakfast was a real treat: a great mix of Japanese and Western options, fresh and delicious. I felt like I was getting more value than I paid for. From check-in to check-out, the whole experience was smooth and seamless. This hotel offers outstanding value and comfort. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know.

Vessel Inn Ueno Iriya Station

Staying at Vessel Inn Ueno Iriya Station was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in onwards—great service! The room is compact but very clean and cozy, with a lovely view of Tokyo Skytree right outside the window. It’s especially magical in the evening when the tower lights up. The hotel is super convenient, just a short 5-minute walk from Exit 4 of Iriya Station. There's a 7-Eleven and a drugstore nearby for all your essentials. If you're heading toward Kitazawa or north, Exit 4 is perfect; if you're going toward Nakameguro via Ueno Station, use Exit 1—easy navigation. Great location, excellent value, and a truly comfortable stay. Definitely planning to come back!

Ueno First City Hotel

Staying at Ueno First City Hotel was a fantastic experience! The daily fresh towels and sleep robes made me feel so pampered—such a thoughtful touch. The room climate control worked perfectly, with both air conditioning and heating adjustable to comfort levels throughout the day. Best of all, it's incredibly close to the station—just a 2-minute walk—and makes exploring Tokyo so convenient. Whether I wanted to head to Asakusa or Akihabara, everything was within easy reach. Clean, quiet, and well-maintained rooms with a friendly staff vibe really made this stay stand out. Definitely my go-to hotel in Tokyo now.

B:Conte Asakusa

Staying at B:Conte Asakusa was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Tokyo. Located right in the heart of the tourist area, this apartment-style hotel offers excellent value for money without compromising on comfort or style. The room was recently renovated with a modern and clean design—very fresh and well-maintained. What really stands out is the location: right on the street level, you have access to local snacks, shopping malls, cozy bars, and traditional izakayas. Everything you’d want is within walking distance, and getting around to nearby attractions is super easy—just a short walk or quick taxi ride away. The only thing to keep in mind? Rooms are limited, so booking early is essential. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Tokyo, but this one truly stands out as my top pick. Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, comfort, and a great vibe all in one.

Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo

I absolutely love the neighborhood—quiet, scenic, and just a short walk from the subway, making it super convenient for exploring Tokyo. Though the hotel is 40 years old, the main building was well-maintained during my stay. The room had clearly been renovated recently—clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke English fluently, which made everything smooth and welcoming. It’s clear this place takes pride in its service and upkeep. I’d definitely come back again—it’s a standout choice in Tokyo.

the b asakusa

Staying at the b asakusa was an absolute game-changer for our Tokyo trip. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Senso-ji Temple, perfect for early morning visits without rushing. Right across the street, you'll find convenience stores like Seven-Eleven and FamilyMart, pharmacies, Don Quijote, and even Uniqlo—all within easy reach. With multiple subway stations nearby, getting around Tokyo is super convenient. But what really stood out? The hotel offers direct bus services to both Narita and Haneda Airports, which made our travel with luggage so much easier. We even walked to the nearest subway station to catch the airport express, saving time and hassle. This place combines comfort, accessibility, and practicality in a way that’s hard to beat—highly recommend for travelers who value seamless transit.
