Many luxury hotels offer complimentary shuttle services, allowing guests to enjoy door-to-door transfers. Avoid peak hours (7:30–9:00 AM and 5:30–7:30 PM) for smoother travel. Originally named Luohuitou Scenic Bridge, it was built in 2006 atop Luohuitou Peninsula in Sanya, inspired by an ancient Li ethnic legend: a prince chased a deer to the summit, where he met a beautiful woman and vowed lifelong devotion. The bridge symbolizes eternal love and fidelity, making it one of Hainan’s most iconic romantic landmarks. Since 2010, the local government has hosted the annual Festival of Love during Qixi Festival, featuring light shows, wedding ceremonies, and couple choirs, drawing tens of thousands of visitors. Recently, digital enhancements like a virtual love letter interactive wall allow travelers to send messages via smartphone, instantly projected onto the bridge surface—creating a timeless emotional connection across generations.
Near the Love Bridge, the standout experience is the seafood night market with starlit grilling at Damao Village Beach Night Market, home to over ten local favorites. The ideal times to visit are 5:30–7:00 AM or 5:00–7:00 PM. Early morning offers calm waters perfect for mirror-like reflections, while golden hour paints the sky and bridge in vibrant hues of red and gold—ideal for stunning photos. Avoid midday (12:00–3:00 PM) due to harsh sunlight and peak crowds. During Qixi Festival or Chinese New Year, special light shows and wedding processions take place, but tickets must be reserved in advance. Bring a light jacket and camera regardless of timing—each visit promises unforgettable memories.

The resort is absolutely stunning, with a beautifully designed courtyard and elegant Spanish-inspired architecture that creates a truly immersive getaway vibe. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of variety and high quality, while afternoon tea was a delightful treat with delicious pastries and perfectly brewed teas. Our concierge, Harry, was incredibly thoughtful and went above and beyond. Without any prior planning, he helped us book a helicopter ride and a rejuvenating spa treatment—all spot-on recommendations. When we mentioned feeling a bit under the weather, he promptly arranged ginger tea for us, which was such a kind touch. Room service was fast and efficient, always arriving exactly when needed. This was hands-down our best hotel experience in Sanya so far. The only regret? We didn’t stay longer! If you’re looking for a peaceful yet luxurious escape with exceptional personal service, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended.

Staying at Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay Resort was an absolute delight. Located right in the heart of Haitang Bay, it's just a short walk from Atlantis and close to the Sanya International Duty-Free Shopping Mall—perfect for exploring nearby attractions. The room was spacious with an incredible ocean view overlooking the South China Sea; waking up to see the sunrise from the balcony was unforgettable. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, and parking is super convenient. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive—the concierge team, especially Xigua and Xiaoxue, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. From personalized touches to prompt service, every detail felt thoughtful. This place truly delivers on comfort, location, and hospitality. I’d absolutely come back again.

I intentionally planned my New Year’s Eve celebration at The Mangrove Sanya in Hainan, and it was my second stay here — and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. From the moment I stepped into the room, the view of the endless blue sea and swaying palm trees through the window just took my breath away. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing, and the cleanliness of the room was spotless — even the smallest corners were meticulously maintained. Everything about this place feels thoughtfully designed. The facilities are impressive, especially for photography lovers; every corner looks like a magazine spread. My personal highlight was the private heated pool — perfect for a quiet evening swim under the stars. It’s so peaceful and romantic. The breakfast menu was fantastic, especially the local noodles — simple but delicious. And the coffee? Made right in front of me with rich crema and deep aroma — you can tell it’s top quality. I loved having an iced espresso with a full cup of ice, super refreshing. Even the little side dishes like the cute sweet potatoes and yam slices added charm to the meal. The staff, especially our dedicated host Xiao Zhan, went above and beyond with warm, personalized service. This trip felt luxurious without feeling overpriced. If you’re looking for a memorable getaway that blends comfort, beauty, and genuine care, this is the place.
