My wife used to only stay at five-star hotels, but after retirement, we started budgeting carefully—and during one of our stays here, we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and well-appointed the standard room felt. It easily matched the comfort of many four-star properties we’ve stayed at. Since then, this has been our consistent choice whenever visiting Suzhou.
