The tatami-style room is absolutely adorable—though I’m not sure where the traditional tatami actually is, the moment you step in, you’re greeted by a sunken entrance and low ceilings with tiny windows and beds that sit close to the floor. But don’t worry—it’s surprisingly spacious for adults, not at all cramped. The design feels so cozy and unique, it genuinely gives you that ‘not in China’ vibe when lying in bed, just soaking in the atmosphere. The bed itself is incredibly wide, perfect for one person to stretch out freely. Plus, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It’s rare to find such a well-thought-out space with great comfort and charm. Definitely worth staying again.
