Staying at Caesar Metro Taipei was a great experience overall. The location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from the metro station and within easy reach of major attractions in Taipei. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable atmosphere. We were traveling as a family and had to adjust our itinerary, so we booked two separate reservations for our two-night stay. Unfortunately, the system didn’t allow us to merge the bookings, which meant we had to check out at noon on the first day and wait until 3 PM to recheck in—definitely inconvenient, especially with luggage in tow. However, the front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading our room at no extra cost, which made a big difference. The new room was larger and much more comfortable. While we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t speak to the quality of the buffet, the service attitude was consistently friendly and helpful. For families or travelers looking for a reliable, centrally located option with solid value, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Staying at Amba Taipei Ximending was such a great choice—being just steps away from Ximending makes exploring the area so convenient. The neighborhood is lively, packed with shops, street food, and great vibes. The breakfast was surprisingly good, especially the fresh rice balls and fried eggs—simple but satisfying. While I personally prefer the style of the Songshan branch, this location really shines for its unbeatable convenience. One thing to note: if you drive, parking fees are not included and you’ll need to arrange that on your own. However, both the Eslite and Emei parking lots are super close—no hassle at all. Overall, it’s a fantastic stay with excellent value, and I’d definitely book again.

Air conditioning works like a charm with adjustable temperature control—crisp and cool during summer nights. The fridge is impressively cold—our soda froze in minutes! That’s a big win for those who love icy drinks. The bathroom offers strong hot water pressure, and there's a quality Panasonic hairdryer. Daily housekeeping is excellent: fresh linens, new towels, four bottles of water, and replenished toiletries every day. The front desk provides a clear MRT map highlighting nearby night markets and transport options—super helpful for first-time visitors. There’s also a free water dispenser (hot and cold) on-site, and each room comes with an electric kettle—ideal for tea or instant coffee anytime. We booked two rooms for four people total, and the price was incredibly reasonable. For comfort, convenience, and value, this hotel hits all the right notes.
