This hostel truly exceeded my expectations! The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The shared kitchen is a big plus—perfect for preparing meals on a budget, and everything was spotlessly clean. Right in front of the hostel is a large supermarket, so grabbing snacks, drinks, or essentials is super convenient. Location-wise, it's ideal—just a short walk to the metro station and within minutes of getting around Stockholm. I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout my stay. It’s rare to find such a welcoming, well-maintained place with great value. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Stockholm!

We arrived to the hotel a bit early and the front desk wasn’t staffed yet, but they left us a secure access code along with all the essentials for check-in. The location is fantastic—just a 5-10 minute walk from the city center, making it super convenient for exploring Stockholm on foot. The price was very reasonable, and honestly, I had zero complaints throughout our stay. From the seamless arrival process to the great neighborhood vibe, this place offers excellent value and comfort. Would definitely recommend and book again.

The hotel is incredibly convenient to reach from the airport—just take bus 583 to Mastå station, transfer to a train heading to Stockholm Opendal, and it’s just a 3-minute walk from there. The location is perfect for exploring central Stockholm. While the room is compact, it was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for a single night stay. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and we were happy to get an early check-in—no waiting around. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout our visit. For the price and location, this place offers excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again.

The manager, Isaq, went above and beyond with his service—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. His warm hospitality made a huge difference in making our stay feel personal and comfortable. The location is unbeatable: just steps away from bus and metro stops, with restaurants, supermarkets like Iva, Coop, and Willys all within walking distance. Everything we needed was right outside the door. Clean facilities, great atmosphere, and excellent value—all reasons why we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The room was beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. Located right in the heart of Stockholm, the hotel offers unbeatable convenience for exploring the city. The breakfast spread was excellent—great variety with both sweet and savory options that were fresh and delicious. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming—pure Scandinavian hospitality at its best. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Every detail, from the quiet ambiance to the thoughtful touches, made our stay memorable. I’d absolutely book again without hesitation.
Svea Hostel
I didn’t actually stay there, but the experience was still awful. I booked a room at this hostel a few weeks in advance, only to get an email two days before arrival saying: 'Sorry, we don’t have rooms available for your dates. Please cancel your booking. Hope you can find another place.' That’s just unacceptable—on that day, nearby accommodations were 8 times more expensive, and it happened to be the same day as Beyoncé’s concert. They expected me to cancel a non-refundable reservation while they offered no solution or apology. My message went unanswered. We were left with nowhere to sleep until some friends kindly let us crash at their place. Luckily, the platform processed a refund, but the hostel never even acknowledged my message or showed any remorse. If you’re considering staying here, please know what kind of service you might get—poor communication, zero accountability, and zero empathy. Definitely not worth the risk.
Rex Petit
Staying at Rex Petit was a fantastic experience! The room without a window actually faced the building's internal courtyard, and surprisingly, it was very bright and airy—no dark or cramped feeling at all. Heating, hot water, and cleanliness were all excellent, making the stay incredibly comfortable. The location is unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk (about 700 meters) to the city center, perfect for exploring on foot. I highly recommend this hotel—you won’t regret it. Plus, the breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options. Overall, an outstanding choice with amazing value, and I’ll definitely be back.
Lilla Brunn
Staying at Lilla Brunn was a fantastic experience! The hostel is perfectly located in the heart of Stockholm, making it super easy to explore the city on foot or by public transit. There's a convenient store just steps away, and the hotel sits right next to a peaceful park—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The only minor downside? No elevator, and with my large luggage, climbing the stairs was a bit of a challenge. But honestly, that didn’t take away from the great vibe, clean rooms, and overall value. I’d definitely stay here again!
Vanadis Hotell - Bad
Stayed at Vanadis Hotell with my 10-year-old daughter for eight days in September/October 2002 — an unforgettable experience! The small room was cozy and warm, with a window that let in natural light. No shower curtain, but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all. There were very few guests during our visit, so the atmosphere felt peaceful and intimate. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. My daughter loved the little playground area — she had a blast exploring it. We also took the time to wander around the neighborhood, discovering charming spots and creating lasting memories of both Vanadis and Stockholm. It was truly special. The warmth, simplicity, and genuine hospitality made this stay stand out. A perfect retreat with heart.
