Staying at Ett HEM in Stockholm was an absolute highlight of my trip—truly one of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever experienced. Nestled in a quiet, upscale residential neighborhood, the hotel feels like a hidden gem. The property consists of two older but beautifully maintained buildings, each with its own shared spaces. The first building houses the front desk, a cozy lounge area, and a charming restaurant. The second building has communal areas on floors one through three, including another dining space on the ground floor. Every common area is thoughtfully designed with warmth and comfort in mind—there’s a real sense of personality and style throughout. Each day, fresh pastries and water are offered in the lounge, and guests can help themselves to alcoholic drinks (paid for by self-registration in a notebook). The restaurants are exceptional and require reservations—unfortunately we missed out on the 7-course tasting menu during a local festival, but the 5-course option we enjoyed over two nights was outstanding. The food was fresh, creative, and beautifully presented—around 1,000 RMB per person, which felt completely justified. Breakfast was simple but high-quality, all made fresh daily without options—just pure freshness and care in every bite. Staff are naturally reserved, typical of Swedish hospitality, but genuinely kind and helpful when approached. Free snacks are available in-room, though drinks aren’t complimentary. No kettle provided, but they’ll happily lend you one upon request. We couldn’t book a larger room—the bigger ones sell out fast—but even the standard room was well-appointed, with everything we needed, including full-sized organic skincare products. Honestly, this place exceeded every expectation. I left with several bottles of their signature bath and body products in my suitcase—proof of how much I loved it. If you’re looking for a refined, intimate, and thoughtfully curated stay in Stockholm, Ett HEM should be top of your list.

I was especially impressed by how quiet and fresh the room was; the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway when you want to be right in the middle of the action without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, the T-bana station is just steps away if you need to travel further. This hotel truly delivers on convenience, comfort, and charm—definitely a standout choice for travelers who value both location and quality.

Despite the high-end feel, the hotel doesn’t feel outdated at all—it’s modern, elegant, and full of character. A truly memorable stay that exceeded expectations. I’d return in a heartbeat.
Lilla Brunn
Staying at Lilla Brunn was a fantastic experience! The hostel is perfectly located in the heart of Stockholm, making it super easy to explore the city on foot or by public transit. There's a convenient store just steps away, and the hotel sits right next to a peaceful park—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The only minor downside? No elevator, and with my large luggage, climbing the stairs was a bit of a challenge. But honestly, that didn’t take away from the great vibe, clean rooms, and overall value. I’d definitely stay here again!

We arrived to the hotel a bit early and the front desk wasn’t staffed yet, but they left us a secure access code along with all the essentials for check-in. The location is fantastic—just a 5-10 minute walk from the city center, making it super convenient for exploring Stockholm on foot. The price was very reasonable, and honestly, I had zero complaints throughout our stay. From the seamless arrival process to the great neighborhood vibe, this place offers excellent value and comfort. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Svea Hostel
I didn’t actually stay there, but the experience was still awful. I booked a room at this hostel a few weeks in advance, only to get an email two days before arrival saying: 'Sorry, we don’t have rooms available for your dates. Please cancel your booking. Hope you can find another place.' That’s just unacceptable—on that day, nearby accommodations were 8 times more expensive, and it happened to be the same day as Beyoncé’s concert. They expected me to cancel a non-refundable reservation while they offered no solution or apology. My message went unanswered. We were left with nowhere to sleep until some friends kindly let us crash at their place. Luckily, the platform processed a refund, but the hostel never even acknowledged my message or showed any remorse. If you’re considering staying here, please know what kind of service you might get—poor communication, zero accountability, and zero empathy. Definitely not worth the risk.

My first hotel in Sweden, and honestly one of the most comfortable stays I've ever had. Located right across from the old town, everything I wanted to explore was just a short walk away—perfect for getting around without needing transport. The entire property is stunning, from the lobby to the restaurant and even the rooms, each space clearly designed with thought and care. The bookshelves, furniture, and decor are all beautifully curated—so much character and style. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; I was greeted by a smiling lady on arrival, and her warmth instantly melted away the jet lag. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and delicious. The bed was heavenly, so comfortable I barely wanted to get up. Everything about this place felt special. A truly memorable stay, and I’d definitely come back.
