Staying at the Courtyard Toronto Downtown was an absolute delight. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city with a subway station just steps away. There are countless restaurants and cafes around, offering everything from local favorites to international cuisine. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk to Eaton Centre, IKEA, and the University of Toronto—perfect for exploring or commuting. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast spread was generous and delicious. The only minor downside was occasional sirens from emergency vehicles late at night, but it didn’t ruin the experience. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value, convenience, and comfort—highly recommend for anyone visiting downtown Toronto.

The hotel is perfectly located, and our room had a stunning lake view—absolutely breathtaking. The interior design is modern and elegant, with excellent attention to detail throughout the property. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay very comfortable. I’d highly recommend booking the lakeside restaurant in advance—otherwise, it can be tough to get a table when you arrive. Everything about this place is top-notch, from the location to the service. A truly memorable experience—I’ll definitely be back.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing meant we slept peacefully without any noise from neighboring rooms. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our visit. It’s rare to find such a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Toronto.

The room was immaculate every time I returned; housekeeping was prompt and thorough, even cleaning while I was downstairs having breakfast. Free breakfast was a real treat—especially since buying it separately would cost $25 per person. It included all the basics, and the fruit selection was generous and fresh, which is rare in Toronto where produce prices are sky-high. Two of the staff members spoke Cantonese, which made communication much easier and added a personal touch. Safety-wise, there were some people experiencing homelessness nearby, so I’d recommend avoiding late-night walks and taking a taxi instead. Overall, this place offers incredible value for money. With its unbeatable location, clean rooms, friendly service, and quality breakfast, I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever visit Toronto again.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—special mention to Carol, who went above and beyond with her warm and efficient service. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, well-prepared, and especially perfect for coffee lovers—the brew was rich, aromatic, and exactly what you’d want to start your day right. The freshly squeezed orange juice tasted authentic and refreshing. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring downtown Toronto, with easy access to public transit and major attractions. Comfortable rooms, great amenities, and top-notch hospitality make this a standout choice. I’ll definitely be returning.

An ideal overnight stop in Toronto. We found the hotel easily enough after initially walking the wrong way from the station—classic tourist move. The room was spotless, cozy, and had that modern vibe I love. Plus, the building’s location is fantastic—right in the heart of dining options, so we never had to go far for a good meal. One minor quirk (if you can even call it that): the frosted glass bathroom door looks sleek and contemporary, but at 5 a.m. during jet lag, flipping on the light felt like summoning the sun itself—my husband woke up instantly, startled by what he thought was dawn breaking through the room. Hilarious, really! We ended up using our phone flashlights instead, which worked perfectly. Overall, this stay was excellent—great comfort, smart design, and a convenient location. Would absolutely recommend and come back again.
