Still, the location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach and super convenient for exploring downtown Fort Lauderdale. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and modern, and overall it’s a great value for the price. Definitely a solid choice if you're looking for comfort and convenience near the water.

After four years of visiting, our love affair with Pineapple Point Guesthouse & Resort—and especially the amazing team—has only grown stronger. This trip was flawless: eight dreamy days soaking in lush greenery, relaxing in perfectly clean rooms, enjoying little thoughtful touches like fresh towels, chocolate-dipped pineapples, and ice cream. The nightly free happy hour was a highlight—perfect for unwinding and connecting with fellow guests in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Special thanks to Tim for his always-smiling hospitality and to owner Judd, whose dedication to both the property’s beautiful landscaping and guest comfort truly brightens every stay. We’re already counting down to next year—can’t wait to return!

The location and views were absolutely fantastic during the day—oceanfront on one side, a scenic intercoastal waterway with elegant homes and boats on the other. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making it a great base for exploring Fort Lauderdale. That said, there are some real concerns to be aware of. If you're driving, expect to pay $55 per day for valet parking—definitely not cheap. More importantly, during weekends and holidays, the area gets very lively at night, with large groups of young people walking around, loud music playing from cars, and frequent smoking of marijuana. The smell was overwhelming and made the outdoor spaces unpleasant, especially near the beachfront dining areas. We ended up avoiding those spots altogether. For a property priced at $200–$400 per night, guests should reasonably expect to walk the sidewalks safely and peacefully without feeling disturbed or exposed to disruptive behavior. It’s clear that stronger nighttime security and crowd management would greatly improve the overall experience. Fort Lauderdale has so much potential, but this issue really stands out.

We booked this hotel mainly for the direct beach access from the back deck, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had. It truly lives up to being a resort—complete with the only tiki bar right on Fort Lauderdale’s beach, which added such a fun, tropical vibe. The food was exceptional (and I’m no stranger to dining critiques), and the service? Absolutely outstanding. A special shoutout to Marcy, our breakfast server on the beach—she arrived early with coffee just in time for sunrise views. The attention to detail was incredible. From a high-end Italian restaurant to a relaxing spa and a charming little boutique shop, everything you could want is here. Whether you’re traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends, this place has something for everyone. It’s more than just a stay—it’s an experience. We’ll definitely be back.
