The only minor downside was being assigned a room designed for guests with accessibility needs, which wasn’t what I requested. When I asked to switch rooms, they explained the hotel was fully booked. Still, that small hiccup didn’t ruin the experience at all. From the welcoming staff to the stunning ocean views and top-notch service, this resort delivers on every level. I’ll definitely be returning.

The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from Funchal’s city center, where there’s no shortage of restaurants and dining options.
