Reading lights on both sides of the bed are a thoughtful touch, typical of a luxury hotel done right. The space is spacious, with a large glass desk and a cozy sofa—my favorite spot to unwind with a cup of tea while watching the city life unfold outside. While all were great, this DoubleTree stood out for its thoughtful touches and exceptional service. The hotel is conveniently located, close to shopping areas and public transport, making it ideal for both business travelers and tourists. Rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. If you're visiting KL, this is definitely a top choice — highly recommend!

Front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful during both check-in and check-out. I’d seen some reviews mentioning the construction site next to the hotel and the nearby cemetery. The cemetery is just part of the area’s character—actually adds a unique charm to the neighborhood, and it’s fascinating to share its history with friends. As for the construction noise, if you’re sensitive, rooms facing that side might be slightly disruptive. If needed, request a room change to the other wing—it’s worth asking. The neighborhood is lively since it’s only 300 meters from KLCC Park, so nighttime street sounds are expected but manageable. Room cleanliness was excellent—only one small note: the kettle still had a bit of leftover water, but washing it out took seconds. I truly appreciated the glass bottles available near the elevator for refilling via the water filter—great step toward reducing plastic waste. Breakfast offered a wide variety: Western, Malay, and Chinese options—all fresh and well-prepared. I used the gym for one day due to heavy rain trapping me indoors. It has a few treadmills, stationary bikes, an escalator machine, and strength training equipment—compact but functional and comfortable for a good workout. Location is perfect: a short walk to KLCC, with amazing photo ops of the Petronas Towers right outside. About a 45–50 minute walk to Central Market for souvenirs, or head to the National Mosque and National Museum. A 40-minute taxi ride to Batu Caves—go early (around 8 AM) to avoid crowds. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and would absolutely choose this hotel again on future visits to KL. Highly recommended—9/10.
