The staff were incredibly warm and helpful; they offered complimentary coffee and late-night snacks (available until 12:00 AM), and as a member, I was able to extend check-out to 2:00 PM—perfect for a relaxed morning. While the sound insulation isn’t perfect—some noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms is noticeable—the overall comfort level is excellent. The bed setup was top-notch: four pillows (memory foam and cotton), a well-balanced duvet, and high-quality toiletries. Location-wise, this hotel is ideal for exploring Beijing’s local charm. It’s tucked away in Lanman Hutong, where the festive atmosphere during holidays is truly special. When checking out, a male employee went out of his way to help me carry my large suitcase and even loaded both bags into the car—such a thoughtful gesture! I truly appreciate the personal touch. Just steps from Xianyukou Street, where there are so many great local eateries and shops—I could easily spend an afternoon just wandering and sampling street food. A short walk away is Qianmen Street (Great Gate Alley), perfect for souvenir hunting and soaking in the historic atmosphere. Breakfast was arranged at Tianxingju nearby—authentic Beijing breakfast options like douzhi, jiaoquan, and zhajiangmian. It’s hearty, delicious, and totally worth the extra few steps. Public transport is super convenient: just 10 minutes by bus to Tiananmen Square, and about an hour by subway to Capital Airport. Everything was smoothly organized through the platform, making the whole trip stress-free. This place is ideal for travelers who want to experience real Beijing without breaking the bank. We booked two rooms at Beijing Tiananmen Square Manxin Hotel—one on the 2nd floor and one on the 4th. The 4th-floor room is a bit smaller, but still comfortable and well-maintained. What stood out was the daily complimentary fruit and drinks delivered to our room—such a nice touch that made the stay feel more personal and thoughtful. Breakfast isn’t included in the rate, but we signed up for the membership program, and for four people over two days, the total cost for breakfast came to under 300 RMB—about 50-60 per person per meal, which is much cheaper than the regular 68 RMB per head. When factoring in both room and breakfast, the daily cost per person is just under 700 RMB, which is actually quite reasonable considering the location and service level. The hotel is literally 30 meters from the subway station, making it super easy to get around the city—whether heading to the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, or other major attractions. There’s also a stroller rental service right outside the Forbidden City entrance, perfect for families with young kids. We appreciated how convenient and family-friendly everything was. Overall, this was an excellent experience—the location, staff, and little extras like the snacks really make a difference. Definitely planning to come back if we visit Beijing again.
