Location-wise, it’s central and very convenient for reaching major attractions. A popular shopping mall is just a 10-minute taxi ride away. While nearby malls aren’t particularly modern or exciting, the hotel’s surroundings are peaceful and authentic, giving you a real sense of old-school Cebu. Staff are incredibly courteous—greeted us with a welcome drink and available 24/7. Throughout our stay, everything ran smoothly, which is rare in Philippine hotels where minor issues and communication gaps often pop up. Here, none of that happened. There was a minor issue in the bathroom: the floor gets wet during showers, but it dried completely within two hours, so it wasn’t a real inconvenience. The mini-fridge worked perfectly, keeping drinks cool throughout our stay. Breakfast was outstanding—a great mix of European and Filipino dishes, all fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. We loved the included fruits and variety of non-alcoholic beverages. On the 19th floor, there’s a small but beautiful pool with breathtaking views of the city skyline, plus a fully equipped gym.
