My stay at Tajview Agra was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is ideal for exploring Agra. What truly made my experience exceptional was the staff—so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. I especially loved the two resident dogs, Max and Maya—they’re adorable and added a special charm to the hotel. The rooftop restaurant, while pricey (a friend’s rice dish cost $17 and tasted just okay), didn’t overshadow the overall great experience. Given the quality of service and ambiance, it’s still worth it. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Agra.

It was such a thoughtful touch! The gym and pool were clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Plus, there are several great cafes within a 10-minute walk—ideal for coffee breaks or light meals without having to go far. Everything about this hotel felt convenient, welcoming, and well-organized. It’s clear they care about guest experience, and it shows in every detail. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Agra.

The staff at the entrance and front desk were incredibly helpful and welcoming—always ready to assist with directions, luggage, or recommendations. Breakfast was standard Indian fare, but if you're used to Western breakfasts, you can request eggs easily—my choice was delicious. The chai was excellent, served with warm hospitality. I noticed a supervisor walking through the dining area each night with a notepad and pencil, checking on rooms and guest experiences—such a thoughtful touch that shows real attention to detail. My room was spotless, the bathroom met North American standards (toilet paper included!), and the elevator comfortably fits six people and works perfectly. Outside, friendly stray dogs roam around—no worries at all. Next door, I watched older women carrying bricks on their heads while working alongside their children. Moved by the scene, I invited them over and gave each a small amount of money. Moments like this made the stay feel so much more meaningful. Overall, it’s a well-run, authentic, and heartwarming experience.

It's clear he doesn't just want to host guests; he genuinely wants you to feel at home and make your journey memorable. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, well-equipped, and quiet—perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The bedding is excellent, the air conditioning works perfectly, and every detail reflects thoughtfulness for guest comfort. What truly sets this place apart is the family-like atmosphere. Max goes above and beyond, sharing insider tips on how to experience Agra authentically and peacefully. His homemade meals are delicious, comforting, and absolutely perfect after a full day of sightseeing. Another standout feature? He offers trusted local drivers for your trips. We used one to travel to Jaipur, and everything went smoothly—clean car, punctual and courteous driver, safe and stress-free. Overall, Max Guest House delivers an unforgettable, human-centered experience. If you're looking for a welcoming, clean, safe, and heartfelt stay with a host who pours his heart into every detail, this is a must-visit. It’s convenient, peaceful, and well-connected to all key attractions. I highly recommend this homestay for anyone visiting Agra—it’s not just a place to sleep, it’s a memorable experience.
Hotel Om Sai Palace
This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. As a visitor, I'd strongly advise against booking here—especially if you're traveling from outside the area. The place lacks even basic amenities, and the service is incredibly poor. I was exhausted after a long day of travel and asked about the wedding party's music, expecting it to end by 10 PM. The staff quietly confirmed that, but the loud DJ music continued all the way until 1 PM the next day. To make matters worse, the hot water system wasn't automatic—you had to go knock on the door and ask someone to turn it on, and they took ages to respond. No comfort, no professionalism, and absolutely no value for money. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
