From the moment we arrived, the warm and personal welcome from Martin made us feel truly at home. It was as if we’d been expecting to be here all along—so welcoming and genuine. We booked a private parking spot (€25/day) located right in the courtyard, which was incredibly convenient. In just 10 minutes on foot, you’re in the heart of Bologna, and some of the best local restaurants are even closer than that—perfect for dinner after a long day of exploring. The rooms are absolutely lovely: spacious, thoughtfully designed with unique character in each one—no cookie-cutter decor here. The air conditioning is whisper-quiet, and the bed? Heavenly. The mattress is firm yet comfortable, and the pillows are just right. The bathroom is huge and well-appointed, with a powerful rain shower, excellent water pressure, and luxuriously soft, oversized towels. Breakfast was the highlight—homemade with care and an impressive variety. Fresh fruit salad, a range of crostini, salads, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh pastries, cakes, and crusty bread—all served with a smile. Coffee is unlimited, offered in every style you could want: cappuccino, Americano, espresso—you name it. This place feels like a hidden gem. Every detail reflects passion and attention to quality. If you're looking for a charming, authentic stay in Bologna, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

Stayed one night at this charming property and was thoroughly impressed. For just €70 per night, two people enjoyed a quiet, well-insulated room with excellent value for money. The bathroom is located outside the room but is private and secure—perfect for storing personal items. The mattress was comfortable, and the room was already warm upon arrival, which made a big difference in the chilly evening. The TV was modern with access to Netflix and YouTube (requires login), though I didn’t get around to using it—don’t know if there were any setup issues. In the morning, I brewed coffee and herbal tea using a high-quality kettle, and appreciated the small kitchenette with fridge—ideal for light meals or snacks. The overall atmosphere was peaceful, clean, and welcoming. The bathroom was spacious and beautifully designed, with a generous shower area. I was genuinely happy with the entire experience. Bonus: just a short walk away is a fantastic little restaurant where we had a romantic dinner—elegant dishes, reasonable prices, and great ambiance. Highly recommend both the hotel and the nearby dining spot. Would definitely stay here again.

Definitely avoid this property—no cell signal at all, and the Wi-Fi was completely non-functional. I reached out to the host multiple times, but they just said 'I don’t know' with zero effort to fix it. After three nights, I had to go outside to coffee shops just to get basic internet access—felt like I was living in a cave. The bathroom door was broken too, making it awkward to use. To make matters worse, we needed to register for the city tax, but instead of help, we kept getting pushy emails demanding compliance. The lack of support and poor communication made the whole stay frustrating. Don’t waste your time or money—this is not worth it.
