After about 30 meters, you’ll spot a staircase with an elevator beside it—take the elevator to level three, exit left, and you’ll find yourself on a charming old European cobblestone path. Follow this into a small park, exit at the far side, and suddenly your navigation app will show how close the hotel is—no more long uphill trek! Plus, you get a unique view of the city from a different angle. The photo of the hotel’s exterior is taken from the main entrance; the downhill path on the left leads straight into the park. If you open your map immediately after stepping out of the train station, you’ll likely miss this shortcut entirely.
