They provided disposable slippers—something you don’t often see in hotels, so it stood out as a thoughtful touch. 25Hours Hotel Zurich Langstrasse

Staying at the 25Hours Hotel Zurich Langstrasse was an absolute delight! The aesthetic of the place is stunning—so stylish and unique. We were welcomed with complimentary drinks on our honeymoon, which set a perfect tone right from the start. What really stood out was that everything in the bar was free—no hidden charges for snacks or drinks, unlike other hotels where mini-bar fees can add up quickly. Plus, the front desk staff went above and beyond by helping us secure tickets to the Lindt Chocolate Factory for the next day, even though it was fully booked two weeks in advance. Their assistance made our trip so much more memorable. From the ambiance to the thoughtful service, every detail felt special. This hotel truly delivers on both comfort and charm—10/10, would absolutely recommend!

Hotel Stoller

Staying at Hotel Stoller was an excellent experience. From Zurich Airport, taking bus routes 16 or 33 is convenient and actually saves about 6 minutes compared to going directly to Zurich HB. However, the buses don’t run as frequently as the nearby tram lines 2 and 3, which are always available with seats. The room faces the quiet courtyard—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Daily cleaning is thorough, and I really appreciated the complimentary four bottles of drinks each day. The apple stand downstairs offers fresh, sweet-and-sour apples that are a delightful treat. The bed is slightly narrow, but that’s typical for 4-star hotels in Germany and Austria, so it’s not surprising. I checked out both M and Coop supermarkets—ended up choosing Coop because the one near the tram stop (5–6 stops from the hotel, right next to a McDonald’s) has the widest selection. Late October to mid-November, outdoor temperatures were around 10°C, but the room’s heating made it cozy and comfortable throughout. Overall, great value, exceptional comfort, and a fantastic location—definitely planning to return.

VISIONAPARTMENTS Militärstrasse - contactless check-in

The apartment was absolutely fantastic—spacious, clean, and well-designed with a modern touch. Located just minutes from the city center, it's incredibly convenient for exploring Zurich by public transit. The contactless check-in was a huge plus, making our arrival stress-free and efficient. While we appreciated the privacy and independence, we did notice that housekeeping wasn’t scheduled during longer stays, so we had to manage cleaning duties ourselves. That said, the overall experience was outstanding—great value, excellent location, and a comfortable home away from home. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend this place to travelers who prefer self-sufficient stays.

I was really satisfied with the service at this apartment and would definitely recommend it to friends. The location is excellent—just a short walk from public transit and surrounded by great cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. The unit itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had a modern, clean vibe. Apartments Swiss Star Marc Aurel

The apartment hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to public transit and nearby amenities. While the location is solid and the unit itself is spacious enough for a single room, there are a few drawbacks to note. The room lacks air conditioning, which makes it quite warm during summer months—definitely not recommended from June onward. Also, since the unit is close to the street, there’s noticeable noise from traffic, which can be disruptive, especially during quiet hours. The bathroom feels a bit outdated and could use some updates. There’s no full kitchen, but a small fridge is provided, which is handy for storing drinks or snacks. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in Zurich with basic comfort and good location, though it may not suit travelers who prioritize peace and modern facilities.

Swiss Star Tower - Self Check-IN

The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a 5-minute walk from the train station with frequent departures, making travel around Zurich effortless. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and offered a bright, open view of the cityscape—perfect for relaxing after a long day. I especially appreciated having a small kitchenette, which allowed me to prepare simple meals and save on dining out. The only minor hiccups were the self-check-in machine, which wasn’t very intuitive, and a sudden loss of hot water during my shower—both issues were resolved quickly by the staff, who were helpful and responsive. One thing to note: there’s no hairdryer in the room, and luggage storage isn’t available. Still, these small drawbacks don’t take away from the overall great value and comfort. This is a solid choice for travelers who prioritize location, space, and convenience, especially those looking to cook their own meals.
