The room was much larger than I imagined—two large suitcases fit comfortably, and there was still plenty of space to move around. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a restful night’s sleep. What really stood out were the three mirrors and double vanity setup—perfect for two travelers sharing the room without any hassle. It's rare to find such thoughtful design details in a hotel, and it made the experience feel truly special. Located just steps from the metro, getting around the city is super easy. Great value, great vibe, and I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to Barcelona.

Staying at this charming hotel in Barcelona was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the heart of the city and minutes away from metro access. Our room was surprisingly spacious, with a cozy living area that felt more like a home than a hotel. I especially appreciated the kitchenette amenities: microwave, dishwasher, and even disposable cleaning supplies—perfect for whipping up a quick snack or heating up milk before bed. It made our stay so much more comfortable and convenient. One thing worth mentioning: we noticed a faint but distinct odor during our three-night stay. It wasn’t from the bathroom, kitchen, or plumbing—it seemed to come intermittently from the air conditioning vents, almost like a sewer-like smell. We didn’t open the AC on the first night due to the odor, but it lingered throughout the room. On the second and third nights, running the AC helped reduce the smell slightly, though it still came and went. It would be great if the management could inspect the HVAC system and consider adding odor barriers to prevent this issue in the future. Despite that minor concern, everything else was outstanding. The front desk manager was incredibly kind and helpful—she personally assisted with a door access issue and made sure we felt taken care of. The phone support team member was equally professional and courteous, patiently guiding me through the solution. Their service truly stood out. If I ever return to Barcelona, this will be my top choice again. A fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality.

This little gem truly exceeded my expectations. Located in a charming historic building in the Poblenou neighborhood, Hostal Poblenou feels like a hidden retreat with so much character. The breakfasts are a highlight—definitely try the avocado toast, it’s fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. The staff go above and beyond with their warm hospitality, making you feel right at home. There's even a friendly cat around to greet you! The location is perfect—close to the beach, quiet and peaceful, yet just a short ride on public transport into the heart of Barcelona. It’s rare to find such comfort, charm, and convenience all in one place. I’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, well-prepared, and varied with local touches that added a nice authentic flair. I especially loved the homemade pastries and the fresh fruit platter. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk from the metro station (about 900 meters), with three different lines nearby, making it super easy to explore Barcelona on foot or by public transit. There’s also a large shopping complex right around the corner, offering everything from dining to retail, which adds great convenience. The neighborhood itself is quiet, safe, and very residential—perfect for a peaceful stay without being far from the city buzz. Everything about this place felt thoughtfully designed, and the overall value is outstanding. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

It’s super convenient—just a 10-minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia metro station and surrounded by great restaurants. The morning breakfast was a sweet surprise, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable.
