There’s a TV, safe, microwave, and a powerful two-burner stove that heats up fast and cooks meals in no time. Kitchenware, dish soap, towels (including beach towels), and shower essentials are all provided—no need to bring anything extra. The balcony is small but functional for hanging laundry. Blackout curtains, air conditioning, crisp white bedding, and fresh towels make the room feel cozy and clean. Daily housekeeping is excellent—garbage is removed every day, and towels are changed regularly. The soundproofing is impressive; we could sleep peacefully without hearing any noise from neighboring rooms. Most guests seem to be families with kids, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The renovation in the rooms feels recent, cleanliness is top-notch, and the price is significantly lower—almost half—compared to similar apartments in the area. That’s a huge win for value. The only downside? The sliding balcony door wouldn’t fully close. They promised to fix it within the day, but after three days, it remained loose—just needed a simple screw tightened. Strong winds and rain made it flap uncontrollably, so we had to prop it with a chair. Honestly, we’re not picky people, but it’s frustrating when small fixes aren’t prioritized. Still, overall, this place has been our go-to for repeat visits. We hope the staff will take guest feedback more seriously moving forward. It’s already clear they care about comfort and service—just a bit more attention to detail would make it perfect.

Staying at Metropol Apartments for the second time was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short 10-minute walk to the beach and close to everything downtown Sochi has to offer. The 17th-floor amenities are impressive: a sparkling pool, a stylish photo zone, and cozy relaxation areas—all with stunning panoramic views. Stayed in the top-floor room with a balcony and amazing city views—definitely worth it! The apartment was spotless and well-equipped: great shower, cooking stove, fridge, kettle, microwave, washing machine, and a full set of kitchenware and dining essentials. It felt like home. The property itself is small, but just a 5-minute walk away is the pool at Neolit Senator hotel—be sure to check with reception about access. Also, it's only about 10 minutes on foot to Albatsos Beach (up and down), making beach trips super convenient. Everything was perfect—the location, the comfort, the vibe. Sonata Hotel
We stayed at Sonata Hotel in August 2024, and while the cleanliness was excellent—with daily housekeeping—it was disappointing to experience such poor service upon arrival. The hotel is very close to the beach and just a short walk from the electric train station, making it convenient for exploring Sochi. However, when we arrived early and had already coordinated with the front desk, the security guard refused to let us in and even tried to escort us out with our child. It felt extremely unwelcoming, especially after paying extra for early check-in. The manager who eventually arrived didn’t offer any apology, which left us feeling upset and frustrated. Our mood remained low throughout the stay, despite the clean rooms and pleasant seaside walks that helped lift spirits. To our dismay, the same unfriendly staff member was there again during check-out, repeating the same cold attitude. While the location and cleanliness were positives, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy made the experience unpleasant. We won’t be returning—no matter how free the offer. For the price, guests deserve better than being treated like intruders.
