However, that central location comes with a trade-off: if you like sleeping with windows open, be prepared for noise from nearby bars and restaurants, especially at night. Check-in and check-out were completely contactless—a nice touch for modern travelers. The balcony is tiny, offering only a view of the opposite building, which makes it feel a bit cramped. Cleanliness was acceptable, but the upkeep of furnishings left much to be desired. Several items needed repair—broken bedside lamps, a faulty showerhead, and even a broken toilet seat were all ignored despite my request. After following up via email and escalating slightly, a staff member finally replaced the showerhead and lamp, but they were taken from another room—so someone else now had the same problem. It’s not really a fix, just a temporary swap. The other damaged fixtures remained untouched. Overall, it felt like the property is managed by an agency with little care or personal attention. There was no simple 'hello' or 'how was your stay?'—no real human connection. I’d personally prefer a privately-run apartment where such small gestures matter. While the price point offers decent value, the lack of maintenance and guest interaction is noticeable. It’s functional, but far from memorable.

This was my second stay at Arte Hotel, and I have to say I’m thoroughly impressed. The location is perfect if you enjoy being right in the heart of Rhodes town—everything is within walking distance, from shops to restaurants. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. Dining was outstanding: both lunch and dinner were delicious, with excellent options for everyone—my wife doesn’t eat meat, my son loves pasta, and I like trying a bit of everything. Everyone was happy, and honestly, even more so than last time! That said, I do have one notable concern about the room. This year I upgraded to a sea-view room, but it ended up smaller than expected—with no wardrobe or drawers at all. Everything had to be stored in our suitcases, which was inconvenient. Also, the extra bed for my 185cm-tall son was only 180cm long, so we had to switch beds—my own height is 184cm, so it wasn’t ideal. If the room were just a little larger and came with proper storage space, I’d definitely book again without hesitation. Overall, though, this is a fantastic hotel with great service, a lively atmosphere, and excellent value. Highly recommend for travelers who love city-center convenience and a vibrant vibe.
