Everything we wanted to explore was within easy reach. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious. Dinner was equally impressive in quality and presentation. I appreciated how thoroughly they prioritized safety during the pandemic—cleanliness and hygiene were clearly a top focus. This place truly offers everything you could want in a getaway, all while feeling peaceful and close to nature. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing, authentic escape.

The breakfast was simple but absolutely delicious, with fresh and tasty ingredients that made every bite enjoyable. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Farol da Barra, the beachfront bars, and the Barra shopping mall. With Bahia’s intense heat, definitely book a room with air conditioning. It’s worth it for the comfort and convenience. A fantastic stay overall!

The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The entire place was spotless and well-organized. If you’re looking for a memorable stay in Salvador, this is the perfect choice—you won’t be disappointed!

The price is very fair, and the location is excellent—super convenient for getting around Salvador. I loved how close it was to local restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place felt clean and welcoming throughout my stay. Definitely a great value for the quality you get.
Hotel Don Juan
Hotel Don Juan is located near the historic center of Salvador, which makes it convenient for exploring the city. The area is a bit risky at night, so I’d recommend being cautious after dark. The hotel itself is decent — clean rooms and a surprisingly good breakfast with a nice variety. However, the front desk service was a major letdown. The platform advertised 24-hour reception, but when we needed to check out early (at 6:00 AM) for a tour, the front desk was completely empty and the door locked. We had to track down the receptionist in another part of the building, who responded with irritation, scolding us for not informing them in advance about our departure time. That was extremely inconvenient and felt totally unreasonable. Given how early we were leaving, expecting guests to plan ahead like that isn’t practical. While the hotel’s basic amenities are solid, this poor experience significantly affected my overall impression. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially if you’re planning an early morning schedule.

Manga Rosa Suites is a straightforward, no-frills stay located just steps from Porto da Barra Beach—perfect for travelers who value proximity and simplicity. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with basic but satisfying breakfast options. Staff throughout the property are friendly and attentive, especially the kitchen team whose warmth really stood out. However, one major concern stands out: the manager was consistently seen without a mask during the Omicron surge, even in common areas. This lack of basic hygiene awareness was disappointing and concerning, especially in such a sensitive period. While the location, cleanliness, and overall service make this a solid choice, the management's disregard for health protocols is a significant drawback. Hope future guests won’t have to face the same issue.

Location couldn’t be better: just a short walk from Farol da Barra lighthouse, local bakeries, restaurants, bars, and the Barra Shopping mall. The owner was incredibly welcoming and always available to help—genuine hospitality that made a big difference. We felt right at home. This place is a gem with exceptional value, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, authentic experience in Salvador.
Marazul Hotel
This hotel doesn’t actually exist—there’s nothing but construction barriers blocking the entire property. I booked through the platform, only to find out it’s completely closed and abandoned. It’s really misleading that this listing is still active. I’d strongly recommend travelers and locals alike to leave feedback to warn others—don’t get caught like I did. The lack of updates and transparency is disappointing, especially when you’re relying on accurate info for your trip. This place should be taken down from the site.
Hotel Pedra da Concha
We were just looking for a place to sleep, but this ended up being one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Right when we arrived, the pillow was covered in someone else's hair—there was no way to tell if it had been changed or not—and it looked pretty grimy. Later that night, we found a cockroach in the bathroom and asked for insecticide, but shockingly, the hotel didn’t even have any. The breakfast was awful—cakes and pastries swarming with flies, and the tapioca was inedible. The overall cleanliness was terrible, and the staff didn’t seem to care. I won’t be returning, and honestly, this stay felt more like a horror story than a vacation. Definitely not worth it.
