The building has floor access control, but since it’s a mixed-use residential-commercial space, there are often people waiting for the elevator, so if you’re in a rush, plan ahead. That said, everything runs smoothly overall. Before check-in, the manager reached out via WeChat to send over key info and offer instant support — super helpful for any issues like unfamiliar devices. I especially loved that there were bicycles available right on the ground floor, which made exploring nearby spots like Fuxin Night Market super easy. It’s only about a 20-minute walk, and the food there is amazing and affordable. Everything about this stay felt authentic, convenient, and genuinely well thought out. If you’re looking for a cozy, hassle-free base in Chengdu, this place is a top pick.

Shenghuatai Hotel (Chengdu Happy Valley)

Staying at Shenghuatai Hotel (Chengdu Happy Valley) was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of comfort for a relaxing night's sleep. What stood out the most was the convenient location—just a short walk from Xin Qiao Metro Station, making it easy to get around Chengdu or head straight to the Happy Valley area. The hotel’s entrance has a grand and welcoming appearance, and the overall ambiance felt clean and modern. The surrounding area is well-equipped with dining options, shopping, and entertainment, so you don’t need to go far for anything. It’s a great spot for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and value—all in one place. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Chengdu Apostle Antique Hotel

Staying in the John room was an absolute delight. The space is incredibly spacious, with high ceilings that give the room a truly open and airy feel—no sense of confinement at all. The bathtub and bathroom were spotlessly clean, making for a very relaxing stay. Location-wise, it's perfect—just a 10-minute walk to Tianfu Square, which made exploring the city so convenient. Whether you're heading out for dinner, shopping, or catching the subway, everything is within easy reach. I’d definitely come back here on my next trip to Chengdu. This hotel offers excellent value and a memorable experience—highly recommended!
