While the rooms are compact and feature low wooden ceilings, they exude charm and definitely qualify as romantic. The staff are friendly, speak English and German, and respond promptly to any questions—recommendations are thoughtful and genuinely helpful. For a reasonably priced stay by Venetian standards, breakfast is included and guests can choose their menu the night before. There’s a small, immaculately clean breakfast room, or you can opt to have breakfast served in your room. The neighborhood is one of the quietest in Venice, yet it’s just a 10-minute walk to the Grand Canal. Plus, it’s an ideal starting point for exploring nearby islands. A definite recommendation.
