Hotel Las Flores

The hotel is decent and comfortable overall, though the walls show some signs of moisture. Luckily, the heating works well, so we never felt cold during our stay. The staff were exceptional—especially the lady who prepared breakfast and handled housekeeping. She was incredibly kind and attentive, making our experience much more pleasant. One thing to note: quietness is required in the rooms, so please keep noise levels down to respect fellow guests. Brizen Apartments Pedro de Valdivia

My stay at Brizen Apartments Pedro de Valdivia was a major disappointment. From the moment I arrived, there were issues with check-in—apparently I had to register at the front desk, but the building is residential and security was extremely lax. The doorman wasn’t even checking IDs, letting almost anyone in. The main entrance door was broken and barely functional, which added to the unease. The elevator creaked like it was about to fall apart, and the hallway smelled strongly of garbage and something else unpleasant—really off-putting. By the time I got to my unit, I just wanted to collapse. Inside, the apartment looked okay at first glance, but the bathroom showed clear signs of poor cleaning—stains on the tiles, like it hadn’t been properly sanitized before my arrival. The balcony was littered with cigarette butts. I was exhausted and tried to sleep, but the noise from outside was unbearable: constant traffic, buses rumbling by, loud exhaust fans from nearby restaurants, and people shouting on the street well past 2 a.m. It was impossible to rest. I reached out for a refund, but received no response. Overall, this was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had—poor maintenance, weak security, and extreme noise pollution. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Yogi Hostels

Staying at Yogi Hostels in Santiago was an absolute highlight of my trip. Located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, it’s just a 10-minute walk to the metro—perfect for getting around the city without hassle. The hostel itself feels like a peaceful oasis amidst the urban buzz. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need to cook, plus free water refill stations. The shared bathroom was clean and stocked with essentials. My room was tucked away in the back courtyard, which made it even quieter—ideal for a good night’s sleep. While it’s not the most glamorous space, it was perfectly comfortable for one night. Overall, great value, friendly vibe, and a fantastic base for exploring Santiago.

The Place

The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the metro and right next to a fantastic in-house restaurant. The hotel feels brand new, spotlessly clean, and every detail is well-maintained. I was especially impressed by the water dispenser in the room—no need for bottled water, which made my stay more convenient and eco-friendly. The facilities are comprehensive and thoughtfully designed, from the laundry machine to the modern furnishings. It’s clear this place takes pride in guest comfort and cleanliness. If you're visiting Santiago, this is definitely a top pick. Truly worth every penny.

Diego de Almagro Providencia Express

I stayed here recently and was really impressed with the experience. The hot water takes about a minute or two to come on, but it’s definitely available—no issues there. Located in a safe, affluent neighborhood, I felt secure throughout my stay. The front desk staff were very helpful—they even allowed me to store my luggage after check-out, which was a huge convenience. Room amenities were standard but well-maintained, and everything worked perfectly. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the grilled cheese—it had such a rich, comforting flavor and was absolutely delicious. Overall, great value for money, clean, quiet, and well-located. Would definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Santiago.

Studio Suite Diego de Velasquez

I booked this hotel with low expectations, but was genuinely blown away when I checked in at the beginning of August 2023. The place is stunning—modern, well-organized, and located steps away from everything you could possibly need. Right outside the door are endless restaurants, shopping centers, convenience stores, pharmacies—you name it. I walked to Costanera Center every day and loved how vibrant and accessible the area felt. The hotel has an on-site restaurant with a private entrance for guests—super convenient! They serve a traditional breakfast, plus a quick 'express coffee' option for early risers heading out on tours. That little touch made my mornings so much easier. I absolutely loved my stay here. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Santiago—I had an incredible time and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Departamentos en Santiago R&M

The location is actually quite good—convenient for getting around Santiago, especially with the metro nearby. However, the property feels outdated and not well-maintained. The biggest issue? No heating at all—neither central heating nor even a small electric heater or radiator to help keep warm. It's completely unreasonable to charge a decent price without providing basic comfort like warmth, especially during colder months. I can see how locals might tolerate it for a short stay, but for travelers seeking comfort, this is a major downside. The lack of essential amenities makes it hard to recommend unless you're on a very tight budget.

Isabel Suites Vitacura

The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very well-appointed. The location is perfect—right in front of Parque Arauco Mall, where you can shop, dine at various restaurants, catch a movie, or hop on the tourist bus—all just steps away. The neighborhood itself is charming, safe, and vibrant. The front desk staff (located in the same building) were exceptional—from the initial booking to our entire stay, their service was attentive and friendly. With 24-hour security, we felt completely secure throughout our visit. This place truly delivers on every level—great value, top-notch comfort, and unbeatable convenience. I’d definitely stay here again.

Casa Ryan

The location is excellent—quiet yet central, making it easy to explore Santiago on foot or by public transit. The room was warm and cozy, with a very comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. The breakfast was basic and could definitely use improvement in both quality and quantity, but it got the job done for the morning. Giovanna was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and she even left us the key so we could come and go freely. Check-in is only available until 9 PM, so plan accordingly. Overall, a great experience with solid value for money—would recommend this place to fellow travelers.
