My stay at this Atour Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The location is unbeatable—right next to a bus stop, and just a short walk to the subway station. I didn’t have to worry about parking either; there are over 20 free spots right outside the hotel, and the nearby Industrial Bank makes it even more convenient. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helped me check in quickly and smoothly. The room itself was thoughtfully designed with smart touches: one-touch lighting control, automatic curtains, and a nice feature where the status of the washer and dryer is displayed on the TV screen—so handy! Nighttime bathroom trips were easy thanks to motion-sensor night lights in both the bedroom and restroom. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, especially the fresh tofu pudding—I could’ve eaten that every day. I’m not sure what star rating the hotel officially has, but based on my experience, it easily deserves four stars. Great value, excellent service, and a truly comfortable stay. What truly touched me though was a small but deeply meaningful gesture. I had a sore throat from a cold and mentioned in my food order that I’d prefer mild spice. Later, a staff member noticed the note and personally delivered a fresh salt-steamed orange to my room. InterContinental Qingdao

Staying at InterContinental Qingdao was a delightful surprise! The front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading me to a sea view room—though it wasn’t on the highest floor, the ocean views were still stunning and made the stay very enjoyable. The fitness center has well-maintained equipment, and although I didn’t get a chance to swim due to time constraints, the pool looked clean and inviting. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Haixin Plaza, making shopping and dining super convenient. I especially want to thank the friendly front desk agent who checked me in (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) and Jennifer at check-out for her exceptional attention to detail—she even helped extend my checkout time without hassle. The service, comfort, and location all exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel I’d recommend and return to.
