The rooms embrace a minimalist Japanese aesthetic: clean lines, clever layout, and impeccable maintenance—no signs of wear at all. What really impressed me was the little touches in the bathroom: a lip balm and compact mirror tucked into the toiletry kit, which shows an understanding of guests’ needs that even some luxury brands overlook. Staff are warm and attentive, though a few small improvements could elevate the experience further—offering a drink while waiting to check in would be a nice gesture, and unsealing the slippers during turndown service instead of just placing them on the floor would add a more refined touch. Nearby, there’s a popular local spot called Da Ji Ice Room, and across the street is a cozy café with amazing coffee and fresh pastries. Perfect for a morning pick-me-up before heading into work or exploring the city. With its unbeatable convenience, cleanliness, and charm, this hotel delivers exceptional value. The hotel is surrounded by convenience: downstairs is the upscale Taikoo Place, and just steps away is a seaside park—ideal for a morning stroll. As for service, it was outstanding. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and attentive—they even helped us secure a room with a stunning view, which I truly appreciated. Every team member we met was courteous, respectful, and spoke fluent Mandarin. Breakfast was another highlight—the soup bowls were generously sized, and the staff kept them filled with fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables. It felt like a personal touch.
