The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with directions, local recommendations, or any request we had—never once seemed rushed or bothered. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with authentic local touches that made us feel truly immersed in the culture of Varanasi. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated—just a short walk to major attractions and great restaurants. Public transport access is convenient too. With such warm hospitality, comfort, and value, this place easily earns a spot as one of my favorite stays in India. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Varanasi.

I was pleasantly surprised when one of the waiters, Aadil, greeted us in Spanish—it added such a personal touch! Shashi, Chitzashii, and Ravi were also incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Plus, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from a decent shopping complex, making it super convenient for grabbing essentials or doing some light shopping. It's a bit farther from the city center, but a short taxi ride makes it super convenient. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Varanasi—it’s peaceful, comfortable, and offers real value. The only downside was the Wi-Fi in the room, which wasn’t very strong, but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We stayed at Hotel Silk City for two nights and had a generally excellent experience. The room was spotlessly clean with all the essentials—hot water, shampoo, toilet paper, and a working hairdryer. What stood out was that housekeeping cleaned our room daily, which isn’t always the case in other hotels across India. Dinner was served at the hotel restaurant, offering a mix of Indian and continental options—we found the food to be tasty and reasonably priced. The only downside was the surrounding area, which felt a bit chaotic, but honestly, that’s part of the authentic Indian experience. Despite that, we’d definitely stay here again if we’re back in Varanasi. Great value, good service, and a comfortable base for exploring the city.
