That said, the room and bathroom are quite small, especially the bathroom, which feels cramped and a bit outdated. The cleanliness could definitely be improved, and there’s a faint musty smell that lingers. However, I have to give a big shoutout to Andia at reception—she was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. She gave us detailed tips on local transport, hidden gems, and must-visit spots in the city. Honestly, her warm and knowledgeable service made the whole stay much better. With some improvements to the room condition, this place would be a top pick.

We booked a four-day stay through the platform, and it turned out to be even better than expected! The HG City Suites Barcelona offers an exceptional experience with its spacious and impeccably clean rooms. It was such a delightful way to enjoy the city’s culinary vibe. Unfortunately, we tried again on Sunday and found all markets closed, so we missed out on a repeat visit. But overall, the room is modern, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay. With such great value and a homey feel, this place has definitely earned a spot on my must-return list.
