We booked the Mercure Barcelona Condor as part of a local tour package through a travel platform, and since it was confirmed locally, we decided to arrive a day early. The check-in experience was excellent—friendly staff, smooth process, and a warm welcome. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, with a cozy café and a small grocery store right downstairs. This made grabbing snacks or morning coffee super convenient. Breakfast was well-rounded and satisfying, offering everything we needed for a good start to the day. The room was very quiet at night—perfect for a restful sleep. The bathroom was spacious by city standards, which was a pleasant surprise. What really stood out was the New Year’s Eve celebration: on December 31st, 2025, the hotel gave each guest 12 grapes, allowing us to take part in the traditional Spanish countdown. It added such a fun, authentic touch to our stay. We stayed four nights and felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout. The overall experience reminded me so much of staying at other Mercure hotels back home in China—consistent quality, reliable service, and great value. This trip was truly memorable, and I’d definitely recommend this property.

As a student arriving in Barcelona for the first time, this was my go-to place while searching for an apartment. I stayed here for a few days, and honestly, it exceeded all expectations. The apartment is huge—perfectly comfortable for three people with plenty of space and well-furnished interiors. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, even at night, which made me feel secure during my entire stay. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful—always ready to answer questions, offer local tips, or assist with travel plans. The location is also super convenient; just a short metro ride from the city center. For someone new to Spain, this place offered not just comfort but also peace of mind. It’s definitely one of those hidden gems that make settling in much easier. Highly recommend it to fellow students or travelers looking for a reliable, homely base in Barcelona.

Staying at Hotel Alimara in Barcelona was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and the view from the window was stunning—perfect for soaking in the city vibes and natural light. The panoramic elevator was a real highlight, making every ride feel like a mini adventure. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the honeydew melon, pineapple, and cured ham—highly recommended! The only minor downside was that the boiled eggs were cold, which was a bit disappointing. However, the fresh fruit juices—especially the pineapple and tropical blend—were delicious and refreshing. What really stood out was how close the hotel is to the metro station; getting around the city’s top attractions was super convenient. Plus, there’s a Lidl supermarket nearby, and after comparing prices, it turned out to be the most affordable option in the area. Great value for money and a perfect base for exploring Barcelona.

Staying at Catalonia Barcelona 505 was a truly positive experience. The room was immaculate, with excellent cleaning service and well-maintained furniture—everything felt fresh and in good condition. The amenities were complete, and the location couldn’t be better: just steps away from the city center, making it super convenient to explore Barcelona on foot or by metro. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and responded quickly to any inquiries. I appreciated the complimentary drink they offered upon renewal—it was a nice touch. My only minor disappointment was that I requested a king-size bed, but instead received two single beds pushed together. The mattress had wheels underneath and wasn’t securely fixed, so there was slight movement in the middle when lying down—slightly concerning for safety. A small issue, but something worth noting for future guests who prefer a stable king bed. Overall, this hotel is outstanding, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Absolutely loved my stay at Vilana Hotel Boutique! The location is perfect—just a short walk from major attractions, making it super convenient to explore Barcelona. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Alejandro at reception who went above and beyond with recommendations and local tips. The room was clean, stylish, and well-appointed, offering a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. It’s clear the hotel puts effort into guest experience, and I truly felt welcomed. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone visiting Barcelona—it’s a standout choice.

The room was spotless, well-maintained, and offered a peaceful, comfortable retreat after a day exploring the city. Cleanliness, convenience, and hospitality all come together seamlessly here. It’s clear the team takes pride in guest experience. I’d highly recommend this hotel for travelers who value both comfort and accessibility in Barcelona.

I’ll admit I had some hesitation when choosing this hotel after reading the reviews, but my doubts vanished the moment I arrived. From the airport, I took the Aeroexpress to Plaza Catalunya, then walked along a trendy street for about 40 minutes—quite a journey, but worth it! I got to the hotel at 10:30 AM, and check-in wasn’t until 3 PM. Luckily, the previous guest had already checked out, and the room was spotless. The staff were incredibly accommodating and let me check in early—such a thoughtful touch. I especially want to highlight Dmitry, who went above and beyond with his kindness and professionalism. After reading other guests’ feedback, I now understand why so many people rave about the team—when you experience their warmth firsthand, it’s impossible not to appreciate it. The room was immaculate, everything I needed was there, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The only minor downside? It’s a bit of a walk from some main attractions—but just a 3-minute stroll to the Vallcarca metro station on the green line, which makes getting around super easy. Overall, I fell head over heels for Barcelona, and the hotel staff made my trip unforgettable. Thank you for making my stay so special!

I stayed at Ikonik Anglí and was truly impressed from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly, professional service—always smiling and ready to help. The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. What stood out most was the peaceful atmosphere; it’s quiet yet just a short walk from public transit, making it easy to explore Barcelona without the noise of the city center. I appreciated how close I was to local restaurants and cafes too. If you're looking for a serene retreat with excellent access to transportation and great value, this hotel is a top choice. Highly recommended!

Staying at Enjoybcn Patio de Gala in Barcelona was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—right next to a metro station and just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore on foot or hop on a bus. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including kitchenware and utensils—ideal for a self-catering stay. Customer service stood out too; any questions I had were answered promptly via WhatsApp, which was super convenient. The only minor downside was being on the ground floor—opening the window meant facing the street, so there was some noise, but it’s manageable by adjusting the curtains or keeping windows closed when needed. Overall, this place offers great value, excellent convenience, and a welcoming vibe. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit to Barcelona.

The Atenea Rekord Suites is an excellent choice for a comfortable stay in Barcelona. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Its location is fantastic: walking distance to Gaudí's iconic trio—Sagrada Família, Casa Milà, and Casa Batlló—makes exploring the city effortless. A quick taxi ride gets you to the beach in no time, which is ideal for those wanting both culture and seaside access. Breakfast was simple but sufficient—nothing fancy like hot fried eggs, but it filled me up for the morning. Overall, this hotel offers great value, especially considering the central location and quality of the rooms. I’d definitely stay here again.

Staying at numa | Colmena Apartments in Barcelona was a fantastic experience. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need—kitchenette featuring an oven, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine with capsules provided by the property, kettle with complimentary tea and herbal infusions, iron, and TV. The living space is well-designed with a cozy sitting area and a spacious balcony perfect for relaxing or enjoying morning coffee. Check-in is super convenient—access codes for both the building and apartment door are sent via WhatsApp the day before arrival. Check-out is also done online, which is a huge plus. Just two minutes on foot from the metro station right in the adjacent square, and there’s a bakery just downstairs for fresh breakfast options. It’s such a practical and central location, making it easy to explore the city. Highly recommended for travelers who value comfort, convenience, and modern amenities.
