We stayed here for New Year's Eve and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was outstanding, the dinner was delicious, and we got to enjoy the stunning fireworks display over Barcelona from our room—truly unforgettable. The rooms were very comfortable, though a bit warm; opening the window helped cool things down nicely. We didn’t use the spa during our visit, but we checked it out and are already planning to come back just to try their treatments. It’s like a peaceful oasis just a short distance from the city, well worth the trip. Yes, it’s a bit dated and not perfect—but that’s exactly what gives it character. I love its old-school charm. Definitely coming back again.

It takes only 10 minutes and 5 metro stops to reach the city center—plus, the metro station is just a 200-meter walk from the hotel, making commuting effortless. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant menu alone is worth a return visit—every dish was thoughtfully crafted and delicious. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt luxurious yet welcoming. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and quality. I’d absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

We booked the Mercure Barcelona Condor as part of a local tour package through a travel platform, and since it was confirmed locally, we decided to arrive a day early. The check-in experience was excellent—friendly staff, smooth process, and a warm welcome. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, with a cozy café and a small grocery store right downstairs. This made grabbing snacks or morning coffee super convenient. Breakfast was well-rounded and satisfying, offering everything we needed for a good start to the day. The room was very quiet at night—perfect for a restful sleep. The bathroom was spacious by city standards, which was a pleasant surprise. What really stood out was the New Year’s Eve celebration: on December 31st, 2025, the hotel gave each guest 12 grapes, allowing us to take part in the traditional Spanish countdown. It added such a fun, authentic touch to our stay. We stayed four nights and felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout. The overall experience reminded me so much of staying at other Mercure hotels back home in China—consistent quality, reliable service, and great value. This trip was truly memorable, and I’d definitely recommend this property.

What really stood out was how close the hotel is to the metro station; getting around the city’s top attractions was super convenient. Plus, there’s a Lidl supermarket nearby, and after comparing prices, it turned out to be the most affordable option in the area. Great value for money and a perfect base for exploring Barcelona.

My only minor disappointment was that I requested a king-size bed, but instead received two single beds pushed together. The mattress had wheels underneath and wasn’t securely fixed, so there was slight movement in the middle when lying down—slightly concerning for safety. A small issue, but something worth noting for future guests who prefer a stable king bed. Overall, this hotel is outstanding, and I’d definitely recommend it.

His friendly vibe and attention to detail made our mornings memorable. The on-site bar is also a real highlight, offering a great atmosphere for unwinding. We truly loved our stay and would definitely book again if we ever return to Barcelona. A wonderful blend of comfort, location, and hospitality.
