Metropolis Tourist Home Paharganj
This was an absolutely disappointing stay—definitely not worth it. The hot water situation was a constant headache: you have to call reception, wait 10 minutes, then run the tap for 4 minutes just to get lukewarm water, and even then, it often didn’t work at all. The bedding was old and had a strange odor that lingered in the room. In the bathroom, there were only two tiny bars of soap, no shampoo, one extremely worn towel, and zero toilet paper—this is unacceptable for any hotel. The mini-fridge didn’t function at all, so keeping drinks cold was impossible. The showerhead was partially clogged, spraying uneven, high-pressure jets that stung my skin, and the water spilled everywhere, flooding the entire bathroom. The only working appliance was the air conditioner. For such a low price point, the lack of basic amenities and poor maintenance is shocking. I wouldn’t recommend this place under any circumstances.
