Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, with dedicated personnel helping with luggage, which made the arrival feel effortless. Located just a short walk from the train station, it’s convenient for getting around. While major attractions like the Hermitage, Church of the Savior on Blood, and the Great Bookstore aren’t right next door, walking along Nevsky Prospekt is part of the charm—there are so many little shops and cafes to explore along the way. One unique touch in our room was a signed artwork by a famous figure hanging above the bed—anyone else stayed in that same room? The only minor downside is the lack of in-room Wi-Fi, but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all—my phone hotspot worked perfectly fine. Overall, this place offers excellent value, comfort, and atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

Its location is perfect—just steps away from the Mariinsky Theatre. After a show, instead of struggling to hail a cab (which was packed at the exit), we walked back in under ten minutes and were able to relax in comfort. There’s also a small convenience store nearby for late-night snacks or essentials. We pre-booked a themed room—definitely go for the superior option. It felt like a royal suite: dreamy ballet-inspired design, soft lighting, and customizable color schemes based on your preference. The bath amenities? Luxurious O&C products—so refreshing! The front desk staff spoke fluent English and even arranged early check-in. Midway through our stay, housekeeping came by and noticed we’d taken extra towels—they quietly added three more sets! No additional fees for three guests—such a thoughtful touch. Oh, and the free 1-hour sauna? We missed it completely—we thought the guided tour was just a walk-through, but when we got dressed and realized what it actually was, we were heartbroken! Still, the breakfast wasn’t overly varied but surprisingly delicious—worth every penny, especially at around $100 per person. Service was lightning-fast—anything we asked for was handled promptly. And since there’s a step at the entrance, they’ll happily help carry luggage up or down. This place feels like a hidden gem.
