It’s just steps away from South Station, making travel incredibly convenient, yet tucked into a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. This place truly delivers on comfort, style, and value. Progress Hotel

Staying at Progress Hotel was a fantastic experience! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the city center and near all the major attractions. Public transportation is super convenient, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with friendly and attentive staff. I especially loved having a small balcony in the room—perfect for morning coffee with a view. Inside, the room was thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities, including a relaxing bathtub. Yes, the price is on the higher side—around €100 per night plus an additional city tax, which is standard for Brussels—but considering the prime location, quality, and overall comfort, it’s totally worth it. If you're visiting Brussels and want a great balance of convenience and comfort, this hotel is a top choice.

Hôtel Méribel

As a solo female traveler in my 20s, I was really hesitant when choosing a hotel. The city-center options were way too expensive, hostels felt uncomfortable, and I was avoiding places with sketchy alleyways or poor cleanliness. Honestly, there weren’t many good options—but this one? Perfect. It exceeded my expectations. The 24-hour front desk is friendly and efficient—check-in and check-out were smooth, and any email inquiries were answered promptly. They even gave me a quick overview of Brussels highlights upon arrival, which was super helpful. Breakfast included fresh bread, fruit, and coffee—simple but satisfying. Inside the room, I found a kettle, hairdryer, mini-fridge, and basic tea/coffee packets—so convenient for late-night snacks or morning brews. The room itself is small but spotless, quiet, and cozy. Best part? Right outside the door, bus lines 65 and 66 take you to the city center in just 10–20 minutes, and bus 61 gets you to North Station in about 10 minutes. It’s not flashy or luxurious, but for a solo traveler looking for safety, comfort, and value—it’s absolutely ideal. If you’re in your 20s or 30s and planning a solo trip to Brussels, don’t overthink it—this place is a great choice.

Hôtel Argus by HappyCulture

Staying at Hôtel Argus by HappyCulture in Brussels was an absolute delight from the moment we arrived. The view from our room was breathtaking—perfectly framed cityscapes that made us pause and just take it all in. It’s no wonder this hotel consistently ranks as one of the top-rated in Brussels. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Even though check-in wasn’t officially until later in the day, the front desk staff kindly accommodated us early, making our arrival smooth and stress-free. Their warm welcome and attention to detail made a lasting impression. This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a memorable experience. If you’re visiting Brussels, don’t miss this gem. I’ll definitely be returning.

Staying at Hotel Mozart was an absolute delight! The owner is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the entire experience feel personal and warm. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the city center square, close to the famous Manneken Pis statue, and within easy reach of the train station. Public transport access is excellent, and everything you need is within walking distance. The hotel itself has a charming, elegant atmosphere with a cozy vibe. It’s a great value for such a central and well-located property. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brussels.

a&o Brussel Centrum

This place totally exceeded my expectations! The room was surprisingly spacious for the price—much bigger than what I’ve seen in similar budget hotels in Paris. It’s spotless and feels more like a 5-star stay than a hostel. On the ground floor, there’s a cozy bar and a table tennis area—perfect for unwinding after a long day. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 5-minute walk to Brussels North Station, making travel into the city or beyond super convenient. The street outside is clean and quiet, with few people around—really peaceful. You can easily reach Grand Place and Manneken Pis in about 15–20 minutes on foot. Great value, excellent vibe, and ideal for travelers who want comfort without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend!

Villa Sablon

The location is excellent—very convenient for public transit and close to everything we wanted to explore. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. We couldn’t get into our room because it was locked with no staff available at the front desk. After multiple attempts to reach someone by phone (despite their email saying 'call us anytime'), we were only able to communicate via WhatsApp. When we finally got a response, we were told to use another room instead—though that one wasn’t even ready. The room we were supposed to stay in hadn’t been cleaned at all when we arrived at 8 PM; there were still dirty linens and towels left behind from a previous guest. We had to wait until 10:30 PM before housekeeping showed up. We reached out several times via text asking for a partial refund, but received no reply. It felt like our concerns were completely ignored. While the location is a strong point, the lack of on-site support, poor communication, and unprofessional handling made this experience extremely frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and would not return.

Hotel Albergo

Staying at Hotel Albergo in Brussels was an absolute delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived—offering help with luggage and sharing great local restaurant tips. The location is perfect: just a short metro ride to the city center, surrounded by cozy cafes and vibrant street food options. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. It’s rare to find such warmth and value in a hotel, but this one truly delivers. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Brussels.
