I’ve always wanted to stay in the heart of Shanghai, and choosing Ascott Huaihai Road was definitely the right call. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Xintiandi and Huaihai Road, with metro access right nearby. I appreciated how easy it was to explore the city without needing a car. While the room furnishings were a bit dated, the overall cleanliness and comfort were solid. The staff, especially Zoey, went above and beyond—friendly, helpful, and gave great local tips on where to eat and what to see. It’s clear they care about guest experience. Despite minor wear and tear, the service, convenience, and atmosphere more than make up for it. A fantastic choice for anyone looking to be in the middle of it all.
