The hotel itself isn’t huge, so you can easily explore it without feeling overwhelmed. Our room was spacious and well-proportioned, with two single beds and a sofa that converted into an extra bed—perfect for three of us, and we all slept comfortably. We upgraded in-house for a small fee to a higher-floor lake-view room, and the view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the calm, glass-like surface of Jinji Lake instantly lifted our mood. Dining was a bit tricky—we didn’t pre-book the Chinese restaurant, and every seating was fully booked. We tried the buffet instead, which was solid but nothing extraordinary.
