This hotel is absolutely stunning for the price. The staff are incredibly polite and attentive, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable—truly a dream to sleep on—and the bedding looks fresh and brand new, not worn at all. Located in a great area, it’s close to major attractions and public transit, making exploring Berlin easy. The only minor note is that it's near the zoo, so you might hear some lively kids playing occasionally, but it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. Our flight was delayed due to bad weather, so we had to extend our stay by one night. We decided to switch to a hotel closer to the city center and ended up choosing Motel One Berlin Ku'Damm—what a great choice! The location is fantastic: just a short walk from major attractions and public transport hubs, making it super convenient for exploring Berlin. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable—perfect for a quick but relaxing overnight stop. The staff were incredibly helpful, offering local tips and assisting with our changed plans without hesitation. Their friendly and professional service made a big difference. Located in a charming and quiet residential area of Berlin, this hotel offers a perfect balance between tranquility and convenience. The small garden is a lovely spot to enjoy a peaceful breakfast in the morning—natural light, fresh air, and a relaxing vibe. The lounge area is beautifully designed with tasteful furniture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. It's hard to find any flaws—it’s truly impressive. I absolutely love it! The only minor improvement would be more blackout curtains for better sleep quality at night. Overall, the experience was exceptional, and the location makes it easy to explore the city by public transit. A top-tier stay with great value—definitely planning to return.

Staying at Motel One Berlin-Upper West was an excellent experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station, making travel in and out of Berlin super convenient. I was also close to several shopping malls and supermarkets, which made grabbing essentials or doing some last-minute shopping effortless. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist with recommendations and any questions I had. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, offering great value for money. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere in central Berlin.

We booked apartment 5 for four nights and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We were looking for peace, space, and a quiet retreat after long days exploring Berlin—and that’s exactly what we found. The unit was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, clearly thoughtfully put together with attention to detail. The living area features a spacious built-in wardrobe, a comfortable sofa, and ample room around the dining table—perfect for relaxing or sharing meals. A large TV and reliable Wi-Fi (after an initial tech hiccup, it worked smoothly throughout) added to the comfort. Both bedrooms face the back of the building, making them wonderfully quiet, and the beds were very comfortable—even if slightly on the softer side, which is really just a minor quibble at this level. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need: clean appliances, including a KitchenAid mixer, and even a welcome kit with coffee, tea, sugar, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, and towels. The bathroom felt fresh and well-maintained, with good storage and plenty of space. One small note: the windows were a bit drafty, but likely due to the nearby heating unit rather than poor insulation. We were warmly greeted by the owner’s mother, who showed us around. She had a no-nonsense, straightforward Berliner attitude—but with genuine warmth beneath the surface. The neighborhood isn’t the most glamorous part of Berlin, but it’s safe and walkable, especially in the evenings. Public transport is excellent: Ringbahn (S-Bahn loop) is less than a 5-minute walk away, and multiple bus lines are nearby. This makes getting around the city effortless. For daily needs, there’s a mini-market, a bakery, and kiosks within walking distance. Right around the corner is a fantastic döner place—more restaurant than food stand—with friendly staff and generous portions. Within 10 to 20 minutes’ walk, you’ll find a diverse range of restaurants offering everything from Middle Eastern to classic Berlin-style cuisine. Just a 1.5 km stroll brings you to the Arminiushallen, a must-visit spot for quality groceries and great food. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. There’s absolutely no reason to complain—and we’re already planning to return next year.

The guesthouse is infested with bed bugs—this is not an exaggeration. We found them crawling even in the shared kitchen, which is centrally located and accessible from all rooms. The owner never showed up during our stay and has not responded to any messages since. We had to scramble to find another hotel just to get a safe place to sleep. Health authorities have already been notified to prevent further risks to future guests.
