Staying at Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof was a fantastic experience overall. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from public transportation and directly next to Berlin Zoo, which made exploring the city so easy. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout the property, and the customer service stood out with friendly, attentive staff who went the extra mile. There was just one small hiccup: we were mistakenly left off the breakfast reservation list for two consecutive days due to a miscommunication between front desk and breakfast area staff. However, the team quickly resolved it and offered a thoughtful apology. Despite that minor issue, the exceptional hospitality and prime location make this hotel a standout choice for anyone visiting Berlin. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to return.

We booked a family connecting room for three, and it was an excellent choice. The setup actually includes two separate rooms—a king bedroom and a twin bedroom—connected by a door, giving us the privacy we needed while still being able to move freely between spaces. With three beds and a combined area of about 80 square meters, the space felt generous and very comfortable. The hotel has clearly been recently renovated—everything is brand new, from the furnishings to the bathroom fixtures, and the overall ambiance feels luxurious and modern. It’s located just steps away from the subway, making it super convenient for exploring Berlin. Great value, great location, and perfect for families or groups looking for comfort and convenience.

Everything was perfect. The room had an unusual layout with high-quality design touches, and the bed was very comfortable—just a bit narrow for us. The restaurant next door was excellent; we dined there twice and loved every bite. We stayed in a deluxe room on the 4th floor with a balcony, and breakfast was included. The location was convenient, the atmosphere peaceful, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place for its charm, comfort, and great value.

I loved the included kettle and the thoughtfully separated wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Everything felt clean, modern, and practical. The staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. If you're looking for a reliable, central, and comfortable base in Berlin, this hotel is definitely worth considering. Puschkin Rooms
The guesthouse is infested with bed bugs—this is not an exaggeration. We found them crawling even in the shared kitchen, which is centrally located and accessible from all rooms. The owner never showed up during our stay and has not responded to any messages since. We had to scramble to find another hotel just to get a safe place to sleep. Health authorities have already been notified to prevent further risks to future guests.

City Hotel Ansbach
This hotel desperately needs a full renovation—or maybe even demolition. From the very first moment, the elevator gave me serious pause; despite being on the 6th floor, I couldn’t bring myself to use it—felt too eerie. The room door was flimsy, thin, and wobbly, so much so that you could hear everything from inside, even with a second door between the hallway and bedroom. Let’s be honest—paying €250 for two nights, isn’t it asking too much to fix a hole in the wall? Sleep was impossible—uncomfortable bed, the temperature felt like a sauna, and the blanket? Honestly, what was that made of? The bathroom was actually decent, though a hairdryer would’ve been a nice touch (though summer made it less urgent). Overall, I’d never come back—not even if they paid me. But hey, the Wi-Fi was excellent. At least something went right.

Staying at Henri Hotel Berlin Kurfürstendamm was a real highlight of my trip to Berlin. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Ku'Damm, with buses running all day and night, and the Zoo/Garten U-Bahn station close by. It’s in a quiet, well-lit, safe neighborhood, making it easy to explore even late at night. The room itself has charm and plenty of storage space—perfect for travelers with lots of luggage. I loved the big, comfortable bed, the Illy coffee machine, and the thoughtful touches like plenty of power outlets in convenient spots. The 24-hour front desk gave me peace of mind, especially when picking up my old-school key. The courtyard view is peaceful and adds character to the stay. Everything was clean and well-maintained. A few small improvements would make it perfect: adding a ramp at the entrance for easier luggage access (just a few steps up), upgrading to newer card keys, and installing USB charging ports. But honestly, these are just minor details—this hotel offers great value, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely book here again.
