I can't recommend Hostel Natura enough — I've stayed here multiple times, and even my first visit was a few years back when it was under different management. The current owners are truly exceptional, constantly upgrading the space and making thoughtful improvements. It's perfectly located in the heart of the Hotel Zone, just steps away from great restaurants, lively bars, and local hotspots. The volunteer team is incredibly friendly and adds such a warm, welcoming vibe to the place. There are plenty of clean bathrooms and showers, a small but functional kitchen, and the rooftop area is one of the best parts — perfect for relaxing or catching sunset views. I usually book a shared dorm room, which keeps my travel budget in check without sacrificing comfort. If you're visiting Cancun, this hostel should be at the top of your list. I’ll definitely be back.

Despite the minor connectivity issue, the hotel’s convenience, ambiance, and value for money make it a strong choice for travelers looking for a relaxed, hassle-free getaway near Cancun’s main sights. I’d definitely consider returning.

A special shoutout to the front desk staff, Micaela—she was incredibly attentive to every need with such genuine kindness and professionalism. From check-in to checkout, she made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a stress-free vacation in Cancun.

What an amazing vacation we had here! We stayed at the Riu Cancun hotel and were treated like royalty. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The excursions were absolutely fantastic—visiting ancient Mayan temples, learning how to make traditional tortillas with modern-day Maya people, swimming in stunning cenotes, and even snorkeling with dolphins and sea turtles. The island of Isla Mujeres is definitely worth a visit too—we rented a taxi for €55 and drove around the whole island with plenty of stops to take photos. The views were breathtaking, and the experience felt so authentic. From start to finish, everything was seamless and unforgettable. This place truly delivers on every level—perfect for anyone looking for adventure, culture, and relaxation all in one.

We recently stayed at the Wyndham Grand Cancun Family 3-Bedroom Ocean Villa and had an absolutely fantastic experience—truly deserving of a perfect 10/10. The resort was immaculate, with every area spotless and well-maintained, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere throughout our visit. Our villa was spacious, beautifully appointed, and located just steps from the beach—a major highlight that made mornings by the water unforgettable. The beach itself was pristine, with plenty of lounge chairs available, so we never had to worry about finding a spot to relax. Service stood out in every way—especially Sergio and Enrique at the restaurants. Sergio went above and beyond to help us with minor scheduling hiccups, making our vacation run smoothly. And Enrique? He blew us away—he remembered our first visit here 30 years ago during our honeymoon, when he was already working at the resort! Sharing those nostalgic moments made the stay feel deeply personal and special. One downside was the inconsistent Wi-Fi, particularly in parts of the villa where signal was completely absent. Verizon users might also face weak or unreliable coverage across the property. Food-to-go options were limited too—wanting sushi and burgers at the same time meant visiting separate restaurants instead of being able to bring food from one to another, even if they were nearby. Lastly, room service came with an extra fee that felt a bit steep given the all-inclusive nature of the package. But honestly, these small drawbacks didn’t take away from the overall excellence. With stunning ocean views, top-tier hospitality, and unforgettable memories, this is definitely a place we’d return to.

Selina Cancun Lagoon Hotel Zone
The location is definitely a plus—right in the heart of the tourist zone, making it easy to get around by public transit. However, this hotel isn’t beachfront and doesn’t have a private sandy stretch, which is a big downside when you’re comparing it to other nearby options. The common areas are far from the main action, and many prime spots are already taken by seaside properties. Service at the front desk felt pretty lackluster—staff barely acknowledged guests sitting there, which made for an unfriendly start. There’s an outdoor pool that’s usable, and the exterior walls of the rooms are vibrant and great for photos. But inside? Not so much. The room size is misleading—advertised at 25 sqm, but with the bathroom included, it’s closer to just 10 sqm. You can’t even fully unpack your suitcase. Plus, the walls between rooms aren’t solid, so conversations carry easily. Cleaning staff also seemed careless—old sheets were removed but never replaced, and overall upkeep was sloppy. Honestly, if you're visiting Cancun and want a good experience, don’t expect too much from typical resort-area hotels like this one. If budget allows, go for an all-inclusive property instead. This one’s not worth it.
