Staying at Occidental Praha was a truly enjoyable experience overall. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and welcoming. The hotel is located in a quiet yet convenient area—close to public transport and within walking distance of several attractions. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable, with a good balance between modern amenities and cozy atmosphere. What really stood out was the breakfast buffet—it’s easily the best in the neighborhood. Plenty of fresh options, great variety, and excellent quality for the price. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Prague. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and value.

We booked a triple room and were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly, professional service—always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. The hotel’s location is excellent: just a short walk from the bus stop, making it super convenient for getting around Prague. Public transport access is seamless, whether you're heading to the Old Town, Wenceslas Square, or other attractions. The room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious for three guests. With a private bathroom, air conditioning, and modern amenities, it offered great comfort without breaking the bank. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. This place feels like a hidden gem in the heart of the city. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.
River Star Hotel
This was easily the worst place I've ever stayed, even worse than sleeping on an empty beer can outside. The room was tiny, filthy, and lacked basic amenities—no support for the showerhead, power cut out at outlets when the light was switched off, and breakfast consisted of generic store-bought cookies. To top it all, I couldn't sleep a wink due to zero soundproofing. My neighbor seemed to have booked some kind of special service—their 'roommate' screamed nonstop until 5 AM. Kudos to them, but not to the hotel. Saving €15 wasn’t worth the misery. Never again.

But honestly, these are minor issues—especially when you consider how well-priced and comfortable the stay was overall. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and centrally located place to stay in Prague without breaking the bank, this is definitely a top choice.

They even accompanied me to the room, and once they spoke to the guests, things calmed down enough for me to finally get some rest. The location is a bit outside the city center, so you’ll need to take public transit or walk a little farther to reach main attractions. Still, the quiet after the disturbance and the comfortable room made up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful, no-frills place with decent value, this could be a solid choice.
