Staying at Gran Melia Chengdu was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff went above and beyond—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm. Special mention to Kevin Bai, the front office manager, whose thoughtful service made a real difference. He remembered our preferences and checked in on us throughout the stay, which felt incredibly personal. The lobby lounge is elegant and relaxing, perfect for unwinding with a drink or just enjoying the ambiance. The beds were heavenly—luxuriously comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. We celebrated New Year’s Eve here, and the whole atmosphere was magical. The lobby is beautifully designed with a serene, traditional Chinese aesthetic—especially the restaurant area with its little bridge and flowing water feature. It truly captures the tranquil vibe of Jiangnan. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with clean linens and thoughtful touches throughout. Right outside the door is the metro station, making travel around Chengdu incredibly convenient. The swimming pool is kept immaculate—crystal clear water and always well-sanitized. I’d definitely stay here again on my next business trip. Excellent location, great service, and fantastic value. Highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and work travelers.
