Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The location is incredibly convenient—direct access to the subway station from the basement level means you can travel anywhere in Tokyo without stepping outside. The room itself is spacious for a Japanese hotel, offering great comfort and a nice sense of space. The front desk staff are fluent in English and super friendly, making check-in and communication effortless. What truly made my stay special was that it happened to be my birthday during the trip. When I returned to the hotel, the lady who had checked me in earlier recognized me, warmly wished me a happy birthday, and even gave me a small gift. That little gesture brought a big smile to my face—it felt so personal and thoughtful. The service throughout was exceptional, attentive, and genuine. This place isn’t just comfortable or well-located; it’s memorable. I’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely return.

Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro Tokyo

Staying at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel in Ikebukuro was a fantastic experience. Even though it’s a short walk from the nearest subway station, the spacious rooms make up for it completely—so comfortable and relaxing after a long day of exploring Tokyo. Being located right inside the Sunshine City complex means dining and shopping are just steps away, making every moment convenient and enjoyable. The housekeeping team is outstanding—they keep everything spotless and fresh daily, which really adds to the overall comfort. Staff members are polite and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. On our last day, we caught the limousine bus right at the hotel entrance to the airport—no need to carry luggage through the city, which was incredibly convenient. This hotel offers excellent value and a truly pleasant stay. I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Hotel Niwa Tokyo

Staying at Hotel Niwa Tokyo was an absolute delight—exactly the kind of place I love. From the moment you step in, the exquisite Japanese garden design at the entrance sets a peaceful and authentic tone. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from major attractions and transit lines, making it easy for both business and leisure travelers. My family and I were all thoroughly impressed. One highlight was the serene little garden on the third floor—perfect for a quiet moment to unwind, though I regret not taking any photos of it. Breakfast was outstanding: a great mix of traditional Japanese and Western options, all fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. We left feeling satisfied and energized. This hotel truly delivers on comfort, charm, and value—definitely a top choice for anyone visiting Tokyo.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed than the first time. The view from the room is absolutely stunning—right across the Tokyo Skytree’s nighttime lights, which made every evening feel magical. The room itself is surprisingly spacious for a Tokyo hotel, with excellent cleanliness and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is modern and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Located just minutes from major transit lines, it’s super convenient for exploring areas like Asakusa and Akihabara. For the price, this is one of the best values in central Tokyo—I’ll definitely be back.

Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo

Staying at Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo was an absolute highlight of my trip to Tokyo. The location is unbeatable—right next to the subway station, making it super easy to explore downtown areas like Ginza and Shinjuku without any hassle. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed with excellent natural light pouring in through the windows. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby—no noise, no disturbances, just pure relaxation. Everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Breakfast was a real treat: a great mix of Japanese and Western options, fresh and delicious. Dormy Inn EXPRESS Asakusa Hot Spring

The location is incredibly convenient—just a 5-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple, and the riverside rooms offer stunning views of the Tokyo Skytree, both during the day and at night. I stayed multiple nights, and while the room isn’t cleaned daily, they leave fresh towels outside the door each morning. Used towels and trash can simply be left at the door—no need to carry them to the hall, which is super practical. The top floor has a foot bath with complimentary towels for drying off, plus free access to a massage chair. There are three floors of laundry machines available at no cost, including detergent—though dryers require payment. Men can use the hot spring daily, while women are only allowed on weekends and public holidays in the afternoon. That said, I was given a voucher that lets me visit another nearby onsen just ten minutes away, and it’s good for unlimited use. It’s unclear if this is part of a promotion or standard offer, but either way, it adds great value. Overall, excellent for the price and perfect for travelers who appreciate thoughtful touches.

Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kanda

Staying at Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kanda was a delightful surprise. The room is compact but well-designed—my 26-inch suitcase opened fully without any hassle, which is impressive in Tokyo. The bed is a standard four-foot double, surprisingly spacious for the city. I appreciated the air purifier, especially since it helped keep the room fresh and clean. Daily housekeeping ensured everything stayed tidy and hygienic. Breakfast was a real highlight—great mix of Western and Japanese options. The mixed rice was delicious, and the meatball vegetable soup warmed me up perfectly. Two fresh juice servings each day varied in flavor—grape and fig, celery with pear—both refreshing and tasty. Fruits like apples and pineapple were crisp and high quality, and the milk and yogurt tasted fresh and wholesome. It’s such a healthy option for travelers who often skip veggies on the go. Location-wise, it’s super convenient—just a short walk from Tokyo Station, quiet at night, yet surrounded by great dining spots. Perfect for exploring during the day and enjoying a meal out in the evening. Prices are reasonable, and there’s plenty to choose from. Staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. I even spotted the famous Kikurage ramen shop nearby—packed with people every time I passed by! Sadly didn’t get to try it this time, but definitely on my list for next visit.

Toyoko Inn Tokyo Keihin Tohoku Sen Oji Eki Kita Guchi

Staying at Toyoko Inn near Oji Station was an excellent experience overall. The room came with a generous selection of amenities—everything I needed was right there, which made the stay so much more comfortable. The breakfast was a highlight: warm rice balls and a delicious soup that tasted fresh and homemade. What really stood out, though, was the front desk staff. When I seemed unsure about operating the self-check-in machine, the attendant noticed before I even asked and kindly walked over to assist me personally. Their genuine care and attention to detail made a big difference. Plus, the location is super convenient—just a short train ride into central Tokyo. This hotel offers great value for money, and I’ll definitely be back.

Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo

I absolutely love the neighborhood—quiet, scenic, and just a short walk from the subway, making it super convenient for exploring Tokyo. Though the hotel is 40 years old, the main building was well-maintained during my stay. The room had clearly been renovated recently—clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke English fluently, which made everything smooth and welcoming. It’s clear this place takes pride in its service and upkeep. I’d definitely come back again—it’s a standout choice in Tokyo.

the b asakusa

Staying at the b asakusa was an absolute game-changer for our Tokyo trip. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Senso-ji Temple, perfect for early morning visits without rushing. Right across the street, you'll find convenience stores like Seven-Eleven and FamilyMart, pharmacies, Don Quijote, and even Uniqlo—all within easy reach. With multiple subway stations nearby, getting around Tokyo is super convenient. But what really stood out? The hotel offers direct bus services to both Narita and Haneda Airports, which made our travel with luggage so much easier. We even walked to the nearest subway station to catch the airport express, saving time and hassle. This place combines comfort, accessibility, and practicality in a way that’s hard to beat—highly recommend for travelers who value seamless transit.
